This is a wonderful example of what happens when you let politics coincide with business. It also shows what happens when you openly discriminate against a group of customers based on unchangeable things like skin color or gender.

I thought our society had gotten over this form of racism or sexism but I guess not.

For the sake of argument, let's say I'm a vegan, and I want to go to a vegan restaurant.

One restaurant, a $20 meal costs me $20 + local sales tax (we'll call it 8%) and I have the option to add a tip, which I do at $3, so let's call it $25.

This restaurant, for that $20 meal, would add an extra 18%... so $28.20 after the tax and tip. Nevermind that I can't find a seat because the woman behind me in line gets priority seating.

So unless I willingly go to the place that costs me more money, and I can't actually eat inside... I'm a bad person.
