I've got Meditations by Marcus Aurelius but I'm having trouble reading it because of the old language they use in it. English as a second language isn't making this easier either. I'm tackling it little by little but I was wondering if there is a more modern alternative or alternatives to this book. You know, like how The 48 Laws of Power is an alternative (better too imo) to The Prince.
