Hello everyone, I have been dating someone for a month, had about 8 dates with no sex yet.

I am wondering about texting, I saw a post on this forum from a few months ago about how women are the leader of the relationship. Does this mean i should show I care by texting from time to time? He spends quite a lot of time on his phone texting his friends, we text not so much but maybe every other day.

We were quite busy the past few days and it has been quiet texting wise. I did ask him out last minute and he said he might text me if it wasn't too late, and he didnt text.

So after a quiet weekend I just texted him asking him how he is. Should I let him initiate most texts, should I text more than him, or the other way round? Right now I would say it is half an half, we both text but not too much. Would appreciate any advice, thank you. We are both in our 20's.
