A body count is a body count, regardless of gender. Men do not want a woman who will sleep around, period. The only way I could see a man not caring as much about women is if he sees lesbianism as a casual thing rather than a serious sexuality, which I doubt is a trait you’re looking for.

The problem with sleeping around with women, I dont know if it's better than with men, I believe it is different and indicative of some deeper issues / personality traits which make finding a stable man (I'll be honest, for me mental and emotional stability are the make or break when it comes to long term partners with whom you can actually reliably build something and have some certainty that it doesnt all go down in flames further down the road when a stimuli, temptation or whatever happen).

Now, treating your own sexuality as something casual, and sleeping with someone based solely on the level of physical appeal, even if that someone is a woman, is indicative of you not having full control over your sensations, is indicative of you giving in easily to impulse, and is indicative of a deeper issue vis a vis men, with whom I understand, from a previous post, that it hasnt worked out relationship-ly and sexually.

So without wanting to moralize though I fear Im right now gonna slip exactly into that, but like, Im not exactly regretful for whats gonna come out either: a mentally stable guy wont want that. Sure, some guys out there find themselves turned on by the idea of their GF getting on with another woman but it is a matter of time before you discover that they are objectifying you and your sexual experience down to hell and back. You simply happen to be the vehicle for a fantasy that predates your relationship and will outlast it as well; he will find it again with other actors involved.

Sexual intimacy is a very complex thing and one of the core ingredients of a healthy, endurable relationship, is self control and sexual exclusivity. You will now say, alright, but I will of course be monogamous then, when I meet the man, and when we are committed. To which I reply that yes, Im sure you aspire to this but if you find it difficult to sort your sexual life right now, as in not use it casually within your friend circle (Im glazing over the clusterfuck this makes of your friendships because I suppose thats your milieu, and not representative for the larger population), it will not magically become easier when you are committed.

With every sexual encounter you have, you are enforcing the wiring in your brain that women are appealing and the means to get satisfaction. You are training yourself to be your own Pavlovs dog, and a man would have huge problems breaking past that, which will be a great blow to his self confidence and which (your conditioning, not his self confidence) will obliterate your relationship from the inside. In a way it isnt much different from masturbation addiction, which is a thing for women and which FUCKS THEM UP and their relationships quite a lot.

Long story short. Whatever it is you are doing right now, do less of that and find other excitements in life beside casual sex in your friends circle, which heck, THATS GONNA BE ONE AWESOME WEDDING, with the happy groom and all the maids there, whom you've been with.

It depends a lot on why your count is as it is. Did you date all of them and under dating i mean you were exclusive and official and all? You could be dating people for 6-7-8 months being exclusive being introduced to parents and all and still not make it to marriage. So by the time you are 25-26-27 your count can be anything around 10. To me in that sense body count doesnt matter.

I assume your trying to get a guys opinion on this? If so then 90% of guys are actually into that type of thing in were his girl likes other girls. Unless the guy is very religious.

Full text: Hey everyone! You guys have been so helpful and the information here has been enlightening! I've been doing quite a bit of reading in this sub and body count seems to come up from time to time..

I'm 25 and have a pretty low count (2) with guys but my count with women is significantly higher. Does that matter? If I date outside of my culture/race will that be seen as a big deal (inside it's a huge deal for all kinds of reasons)? Basically, will it hold me back and make me seem low value?

It might be worth seeking out a therapist experienced with bisexuality and/or researching internalized homophobia. Completely unrelated to this sub but internalized homophobia is something a lot of bisexual/lesbian people struggle with when first exploring their sexuality and could possibly be the reason you don’t see a relationship with a woman as a possibility.
