My MOH (25 f) who is also my best friend has been acting a bit different. Now I know we are both different people in general but one of the reasons why I love her is because she was pretty similar to me. Our personalities meshed very well and we had pretty much the same beliefs. However, since I moved away I feel like seeing how she is acting is new to me. I knew her as being more introverted but I think since she is meeting new people at university she is becoming friends with more outgoing, extroverted, party people. She has a tiktok and has been going out a lot more. I am not her mom and she is a full on adult so I’m not going to tell her what to do with her life. But internally I think I feel a little bit weird because I think there is some truth to you are who you hang out with. And since we haven’t seen each other in months (I live across the country) she is making a new friend group. If she is genuinely happy then I am happy for her. I just know she’s told me that she wishes she was going to be married and have kids and she wanted to give it all up since those areas weren’t going very well. It makes me sad because I’m not sure if she will achieve this since she is putting her medical degree first and everything else second. Like I said I feel like I know the real her but I’m just wondering if down the road our dynamic will change? It’s not my job to change anyone but any other ladies been through this like female friendships where your lifestyles don’t align?
