I think it's good if it's in the line of sports or leisure or recreational activities. But if it's one of your pouring champagne on yourself or a see through white bikini, I don't think that's appropriate.

If you're posting an action shot where you happen to be in a bikini, I don’t think it's tacky. If you're posing to show off your body, be prepared for some disgusting messages.

I think personally that in that case it's acceptable since it shows an interest in a physical activity rather than your/any other woman's body being a defining trait of their personality. However, I personally think if it's a picture intended to be sexualized/showing emphasis on your ass, etc. the it's not fine.

I don’t necessarily think that a bikini photo is inheritely suggestive, especially because there’s all types of bikinis and settings where you can wear em. I respect that if you’re on this sub you’re likely not angling it upwards from a low angle at perfect lighting like it’s science to make your butt look bigger for more attention from suitors. As all the others say, it’s a good sign that you stay fit.

I think it's good. A bikini photo makes a strong statement that you are healthy (assuming you are indeed healthy, that is).

There are a lot of unhealthy women on dating apps, and men are keenly aware of that. Many men are also unduly suspicious of the woman's health when browsing on dating apps, and will pass if they (rightfully or wrongly) think the woman they are looking at is morbidly obese but is obscuring that fact with a lot of clothes.

That said, I'm not sure if dating apps are the right place. If you have the confidence to look great with bikinis, wouldn't it be a better idea to look out for private beach events (like about a boat show or music performance) and meet men there.
