After internalizing a lot of RP theory, the posts I get the most out of offer some kind of practical advice. Girl game, hobbies/crafts, even field reports are of special interest to me. Besides the excellent sidebar material, my favorite post was this post about /u/tryanotherJuan's experience as an office assistant and how she applies RPW to her job.

I enjoyed this post because it hit the major points of being a good woman (pleasantness, no nagging, not badmouthing colleagues), as well as the importance of tending one's appearance. But beyond that, it demonstrated something very important to me: this is a lifestyle and a path of self-development.

When I first came across this sub, I filed it under "useful knowledge for when I have a SO" and bookmarked it. After spending more time here I've begun to realize that it runs much deeper than that, and even though I can't relate to many of the relationship posts (yet), I still gain something from reading and internalizing them.

Like the OP I'm single, and it was excellent to see RPW wisdom being applied to different areas of life. It showed me that no matter where I find myself, there's room for me to develop. I've brought a feminine mindset into my female friendships, when I talk to my family, and when I care for patients. It's taught me to give respect where respect is due, to be mindful of how I present myself, and to gain satisfaction through giving. An ongoing process - and hard - but I'm so glad I started when I did.
