I’ve been out twice with a cute beef cake but he’s very shy. Each time he saw me, he hesitated to make eye contact at first but warmed up. He works remote and has small social circle, plus a computer engineer, so he doesn’t socialize a lot. I kind of got to know him but he’s still in the shell. I’m having a birthday cookout with about 20 people. I’ve only been in town for a year so none of these people are my best friends nor know me incredibly well. They are all good people and no one in the bunch who would want to sabotage my dating life. I’m thinking of inviting beef cake to my birthday cookout, but not sure if it’s too much pressure. Maybe he’s not shy and just not into it? Thoughts?
