If you're trying to test your boyfriend to see how long it will take for him to text you first, it's a bad idea. Don't set up secret, covert tests.

Can I ask, what do you think he is doing with his alone time?

1)Building: working hard, growing, learning, etc.

2) Playing: video games, movies, chilling, nothing?

I can respect this in a man who is working hard. When I first started dating my bf he wouldn't text much but I'd patiently wait because I knew he was building. In fact he was always working very hard and it was what attracted me to him. It left him with little texting time.

If he wasn't building and just playing then I don't think I can be ok with not messaging me for days.

I know plenty of introverted people and I am one myself. We still text when its someone we feel very close too.

The biggest question you should ask is if you can handle this? Id recommend taking the 5 love languages test and have him take it as well and show each other. If you score high in words of affirmation and he scores very low then adjustments must be made or you will feel hurt.

Ask him? "Hey, I know you need your space. Do you want to contact me when you are ready to interact again, or is what we have been doing (you texting first after a couple of days) working?

Don't deploy shit tests if you trust him. Call him once a day at the same time. When he is ready, he will pick up.

Man need time alone. If he chooses to go that way, trust your leader and keep your mouth shut while doing that. He needs to get thing done and cross off some todos on his agenda. If you annoy him in this phase and make him regret or feel guilty on his time, he wont be ablr to concenrate so you will get a double negative.

Dont make it a double neagtive for him.
