First time poster, long time lurker.

Recently, I've seen a lot of conflict within our community. Whether it is newbies coming in thinking they have everything figured out, or the hardened veterans discrediting every scenario simply because it does not conform with their view of TRP philosophy. Simply put, we've regressed a bit. Below are some things that all members of TRP should take a look at and do.

For the newbies: read. Read! READ! Make sure you are absorbing the information rather than skimming through it. Once you're done, read it again; a strong foundation of TRP principles is crucial to success.

For the veterans: Take a step back and remember where you came from, but more importantly, why you are still here -- you're a mentor, not a prison guard. If you see an individual struggling to grasp a certain concept, help them, don't criticize them.

For everyone: Take a second, no matter how long you have been here, and look at the stages of TRP. Figure out where you are right now and what you can do to make it to that fifth stage (or sixth if you really want to go that far). Use those stages as your guide to this subreddit. Remember, everyone moves at their own pace and progress isn't linear. While stage two may have taken you a week to get over, for others, it may take a year or more. Keep in mind that what we're doing here is directly against the traditional upbringing of boys in our society and will cause internal conflict. Help them process what they are going through!

Going back to to our roots and reviewing the fundamental information we all learned when we decided to take the pill is what will strengthen us; solidifying the foundation of our beliefs allows us to build further upon our structure. The collection of information and community we have is what sets us apart from the rest of the men on the planet. Let's use the resources we have now to cultivate the next generation of TRPers and set ourselves off in the right direction for 2018.
