This isn't cheating. It's just me realizing the potential of a past relationship. It's latent loyalty!

I didn't feel the slightest twinge of guilt the whole time and well, that bothers me.

I'm experiencing a lot of cognitive dissonance given all the Disney movies I grew up watching. I thought I was made of cinnamon 'n' shit.

My question: should I confess to the guy I'm currently seeing what I did? Should I bring up how unwanted I felt yesterday or would that be weird considering we've only really known each other a matter of weeks - although it's gotten really, really, really intense between us? Should I just chalk the whole thing up as a terrible vindictive mistake and keep it to myself?

In spite of the mistake, and my acknowledgement of it as such, I still don't want to hold up my responsibilities in this relationship, so I'm going to crowd-source the outcome.

You're assuming that if a girl cheats it's automatically the guy's fault. Newsflash: They'll do it either fucking way.

"Guy sounds like a chode." Of course he sounds like a fucking chode, look at who is telling the story. For all the nexting, beta, hamster, and buzz words you're throwing around, you're really missing the point.

I don't know the story, but I can almost guarantee you this is how it went down: Guy says he's going out of town to see some buddies, girl says she wants to come.

Guy says fuck, fine, but pay or own way. Girls goes out there, and bitches the whole time while the dude is getting drunk with his bros.

Girl gets pissed and fucks some random guy who is apparently her ex, and doesn't care.

I feel bad the dude didn't at least get to fuck her, but she sounds like a big enough cunt that I'd say he dodged a bullet.

This. A few of the guys here don't truly get it. The guys talking about hamster justifying or excusing. Just belittling like children.

Here is a way of thinking about it. How many cheating problem posts are like this? Most of them. Guy does something stupid, girl finds herself cheating. How many posts about Redpill guys? There was that one yesterday from SRS where she was madly in love with an autonomous man. That's because Redpill guys don't have this issue.

You've got it exactly right (about her). She regretted committing to this guy almost as soon as the words were out of her mouth. However, she couldn't just tell him that when he had done nothing objectively wrong. So she took the first opportunity, "he gave me wrong directions and didn't pay enough attention to me for two hours", as an excuse to do irreparable damage. Prediction: Even if he completely forgives her, she'll still break up with him or commit further sabotage until he gets the message.

Know why she didn't feel guilty when cheating? In her mind he was already gone, and that's not something she feels bad about. She felt bad when she woke up because the reality hit that relationships don't magically end when you cheat, you still have to admit it and go through that messy separation. That's where the real dread comes from.

Her problem isn't that she sabotages good things as people in there have concluded for her. It's that she's really bad at communication and confrontation.

Edit: Turns out she hasn't had sex with the "boyfriend", though she's randomly fucking an ex. I wonder who's decision it was for them to not sleep together yet... The picture is becoming clearer all the time.

Meh, sleeping with someone after you've been "dating" someone for a week and a half is not cheating, maybe in high school, but not the real world. Even if there is a commitment, there is no REAL commitment at this point. If a chick would have treated me the way her new BF did then I would have done the same thing. Wouldn't you?

I concur, a week (+3 days) is not a relationship. [Early] Dating does not mean commitment at all. If it was the second or third date of a girl who just did not seem interested in talking with me/ignoring me throughout the date... I would totally just leave and find someone else.

If you are still dating after a month, that's when "committed" relationships begin.

However, I do think she wants reaffirmation of her actions, which then again, why? You already did the act... a bunch of people on the internet going to make you feel better for what actions you took? Or better yet, she did want the attention, but took an easy way to get the attention.

Can't say I blame her, the first guy jerked her around for 2 hours and then showed no interest in actually fucking her or interacting as a man to a woman. The guy who fucked her actually viewed her as a woman and wanted to fuck her (I wanted to feel "wanted"). The rest of the post is just plausible deniability in text format. :)

People here definitely don't all claim to be alphas. You'd be surprised if you took a poll.

You'll find quite a bit of humor if you stick around long enough.

The purpose of linking posts is to point out how much better the ideas here fit the situation than the mainstream narrative. It's not to downvote people and belittle them. We actually try not to blame people for following their natural instincts, but we are harsh critics of people who ignore the truth of those instincts just because it's uncomfortable. For instance, the girl in the linked post isn't evil because she cheated, but she is a joke for pretending like she didn't know what she was doing the entire time.

Yes there is a lot of bitterness and cynicism. That comes from people feeling like they've been lied to their entire lives to their own detriment. That also is natural, we're not going to apologize for it.
