I'd be far more interested in his description of your relationship because you have an obvious bias which will cause you to present your case in a way that is favorable to you.

He has sufficiently convinced you of his value as a mate which is why you continue to be with him. It could be that your sexual market value has caused you to settle, or it could be that he is indeed a high value man. If his value diminishes in your eyes you will begin searching for a suitable replacement if your circumstances allow for it. The Red Pill isn't for people who have perfect relationships, (the immaculate description of your relationship I find extremely dubious), it's for men who have been duped in to thinking their own desires are irrelevant by a culture that is /terrified/ of scrutinizing women.

I don't know what a 'red-pill relationship' is. This is a notion you seem to have conjured up. If your man is in full charge of his life and doesn't let you walk all over him, and he's willing to enforce his expectations with respect to your relationship, then he embodies the qualities the red pill espouses. You seem to have the idea that every 'red-pill' man resents the idea of equality. Ironically, I am more for equality than most modern-day feminists, which is why I rally against the rampant female entitlement that goes on today.

Then why is this subreddit directed at men specifically and not both men and women? If the goal of this subreddit is to take charge of your own life and not let your partner walk all over you, why is that only relevant to men?

Are you suggesting that to be 'legitimate' we MUST include women as well? Or are you merely suggesting that men doing something for men, as men, is somehow less admirable than, say, 50 years of women-only self interest?

Why is it so important to include BOTH sexes now, given the 5 decades of gynocentric advocacy we all grew up in?

Sorry lady, you're just going to have to deal with the fact that men talk about things men are interested in, and there's no rule saying we have to make women feel included.

Case in point: The Black Male Initiative, a program run through NYC's public university, was designed to help get more black boys into college and keep them there. Eventually the university got sued by some black girls.

I think you're wanting a simple, encapsulating explanation that can be delivered in a few short sentences which is not possible. I will say this. Feminism has been so successful in pursuing it's agenda that it's contributed to an epidemic of completely weak men who can't socialize properly, don't know how to get their expectations met, and can't value themselves. They're trained to be selfless in a way that women are not, and as a result they grow up dissatisfied. Women are told that they're entitled and that they should look out for their own interests first, and this cultural attitude is clear in our court-system which vastly favors the interests of women at the expense of men in divorce law.

Let me ask you, where do you think all the pissed off men of TRP are coming from? Do you think they're all rich billionaires with super-model girlfriends and they just come here for no reason to complain? No, they're just angry men who haven't been given the skill set required to get what they want in life.

Ironically, /everything/ feminists claim to want in a man are complete turn-offs to women, but they can't come out and say 'Yeah, I'd rather have a man who is strong and confident and willing to lead me and be a provider' because it would completely deflate their movement. This is one of the reasons TRP exists, so men can have a place to go to talk to other men about being successful with women, and learn what women /actually/ respond to when you cut through all the smoke and mirrors.

I actually do think a woman can learn a lot from TRP forums. There is no ban on women here as you can obviously tell.

The sweeping opinion isn't "never trust a woman". It's actually that you can /always/ trust a woman to be self-interested, and she will keep you around only so long as you can convince her it is in her own self interest to do so. Most men /can't/ handle this. They go through their entire life thinking that a woman should be attracted to them in the same way that they're attracted to a woman, which is for the most part a way that's separate from considerations like wealth and status. It's a big mental hurdle that men can't face, and it's really the epitome of being 'blue-pill' because it represents a deliberate flight from reality.

You've summed up the thread pretty nicely.

This is a subreddit by men and for men and it must stay that way for it's original purpose to remain in tact. If you want a female perspective, you should check out r/redpillwomen.

[–]andromede8 4 points5 points6 points 12 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

Why would it be?

Women organisations exist, black organisations exist.... they dont necessarily hate men or white people, they just want to be with people they can relate on the same issues. Men need this too. They dont want to scroll down 3 pages of ''i'm a woman and I have a question'' before finding something that will actually help them.

I feel welcome here, I comment often, but if I have a question, i'll go on /r/RedPillWomen.

[–]ajswdf 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Woman are welcome to comment and post, it's just that it's mainly from a man's perspective because men have more control over their sexual value.

For women, their sexual value is largely determined by their looks, but that's just a part of a man's sexual value.

In addition, while men have a lot of control of their sexual value, our society teaches them the exact wrong things to increase it. So the red pill mainly exists to teach guys the true way to increase their value (hence the red pill metaphor.)

I do not ‘shit test’ my boyfriend and he does not ‘game’ me.

Yes you do (you just don't see it as such) and yes he does. The way he acts around you is how he acts with women, which is different from how he acts around men.

is when a woman does something to explicitly test if a man will 'call her on her shit'.

no. a shit test is a test where all direct responses will make him look bad.

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points9 points 12 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

I don't believe I do that either.

Lol, of course you don't.

A very common shit test you most certainly have performed is asking him how many sexual partners he's had. If his answer was 20 you might be appalled and grossed out, if his answer is 2 you might think he is of low social market value and can't get laid.

Yeah there might be a number that you think would be perfect but he doesn't know what that is, so to him it's almost always a lose-lose situation answering the question straight on. At least when you are getting to know each other or even in the early to middle stages of a relationship.

[–]frequentlywrong 6 points7 points8 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Most women do it subconsciously. You don't see what he does as game, because women are completely oblivious to game. From a females point of view game is chemistry. For a guy game is knowing how to act with women and it is something every guy needs to learn. Some find it easier than others, because it is very dependent on what kind of environment a guy was raised in (his male role models).

You are young and probably attractive. You are completely oblivious to social realities, because you are at your peak. Every woman wishes she was your age, every guy wishes you would be into him. In 10-20 years depending on how well you take care of yourself, you will be socially irrelevant. Suddenly no man will give a fuck about you. If you find yourself single or single with a kid, your choices will be staying single forever or settling with an unattractive man. The attractive ones will be going after 20 year olds. Your intelligence, career or accomplishments will mean squat, because no man gives a shit about any of it.

[–]1wakethfkupneo 5 points6 points7 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

My understanding of 'shit test' (correct me if I am wrong), is when a woman does something to explicitly test if a man will 'call her on her shit'

No it's not that explicit although some women do that. In fact most women shit test subconsciously. To quote Rollo: "Women’s shit testing is a psychologically evolved, hard-wired survival mechanism." Like bats emitting ultrasound to navigate in the darkness. Read the sidebar material, blogs listed, some threads here or /r/asktrp, it's been discussed ad nauseam.

And why are you coming here to ask questions? I mean, what are your motives? If I've had a perfectly good relationship I'd probably be more occupied reading about business, hobbies or whatever. Why the urge to go around and even pay a visit to the 'dark side' (a.k.a. Red Pill) as they call us to get answers about something that's presumably perfect and needs no fixing? Is your only problem his job ... or is it more than you'd care to admit. I'm just speculating here, not expecting honest public answer here. Ask yourself. Also I'd like to point there's /r/RedPillWomen which you might find insightful.

[–]cugar5 points 12 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

bottom line, shit tests from girls are not a conscious decision and they are broader then that list in the article (those seem to pin point meeting/getting to know club girls), they just happen.

you gave him some shit tests when you first started dating to screen him as a possible mate/friend/lover, they could have been subtle or maybe not. men do not generally shit test, but men with options do, because they are screening for their mates due to them having options, just like most females. shit tests tend to die down once settled in a relationship, but they will still happen, i see it every week with my roomate's gf, but to them its just normal. you probably shit test your boyfriend without even realizing just from being in your own bubble of reality.

just the fact that he can and does disagree with you at times, hes passing a shit test, if he agreed with everything you said even against his own beliefs, you would sense this, he wouldn't pass and you wouldn't be as attracted to him because he'd be your molded little puppy dog.

if the outside world could look at every move made by you and your boyfriend in the beginning of your relationship you would see certain aspects that align with "game"...he did things right, which is how he nabbed you, it was unconscious on his part though, what the pick up and gaming community has done has figured out steps, traits and general process to pick up girls from studying how and why things go right with guys who get girls. past relationships i've had before i knew about game/seduction followed these ideals i just didn't see it. of course those relationships fell apart because i was not my own man. your dude is his own man it sounds like.

[–][deleted] 14 points15 points16 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Had a relationship very similar to yours at that age. I'm pretty sure my g/f would have described it as exactly the same. I thought she was a unicorn that broke all the RP rules.

So what happened? My career didn't turn out to be as successful as she hoped as quickly as she hoped, and after seven years she ditched me.

[–][deleted] 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

[permanently deleted]

[–][deleted] 9 points10 points11 points 12 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

It doesn't mean yours won't work out.

But it does mean that hypergamy never sleeps and there are no exceptions to it. Even the most enlightened, intelligent women will view you incredibly differently based on temporary circumstances as to status, resources, and reputation. Even the most loyal woman will be blind to what past value you've provided, or even what future value you may be likely to provide, if your present value has diminished.

I'd also add that being students suppressed your hypergamy by placing you and your peers in artificially equal material circumstances. When you're thirty and are seeing the consequences of the income disparity, you'll feel differently.

For what it's worth, my ex's mother was much more successful than her father. They had an arranged marriage, and she always resented him for not being worthy of her. Then she came down with a serious illness and he stayed by her side taking care of her until she passed- as I stayed by my ex's side to get her through it, never losing patience with her and generally being a font of support and love. I thought living through this experience would make my ex understand of the value of loyalty and stability in a partner. Didn't take.

Now maybe you're a unicorn, or maybe your boyfriend has a lot of traits that keep his present value high even in the presence of bad career luck/adversity (I don't/didn't, I guess). I wish you both the best, but as a betting man I wouldn't bet on him; I've yet to see evidence of a woman being capable of true romantic loyalty that doesn't coincide with her own selfish desires.

[–]replyaccount 3 points4 points5 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

What is it we're supposed to explain to you exactly? Great that you have a (in your mind) healthy relationship. Red Pill isn't some kind of magic bullet. It's a philosophy that helps explain biological and social tendencies to help disenfranchised men who have been misled in their romantic lives.

You are happy now because both of you are essentially on an even playing field and probably feel that you can't do any better. I don't believe for one second that if a man of higher value socially, economically, or physically (better yet, a man with a combination of 2 or 3 of those traits) than your current BF showed interest in you, you wouldn't drop him like a rock for the new guy. Love is a silly notion and only lasts until someone you perceive to be higher value (for whatever reasons) comes along and gives you attention.

In short, TRP isn't about "putting women in their place", it's about giving tools for men to increase their sexual market value, improve their personal satisfaction, and understand what a woman desires in a man. The fact that you came here for self validation kind of proves we're right, in one aspect at the very least.

You give us a paragraph and expect us to explain how it fits into red pill theory as if something as complex as a relationship can be explained so briefly.

[permanently deleted]

[–]Cold_August5 points 12 years ago [recovered] (6 children) | Copy Link

what are possible explanations from red pill theory?

I consider myself to be fairly red pill and I do all the things described by you with my girl, the only exceptions are that I make more money than her and I've made it clear we're not going to marry. Nothing described above is definitely contradictary to red pill.

Can a relationship with the properties I described be a happy and healthy one?

Sure.

If so, what things I did not describe would have to be true?

I suspect that your boyfriend probably has a strong sense of who he is and is willing to say no when something opposed to him is asked.

Come back in a couple of years time when you are earning significantly more than your boyfriend or when he finally becomes a high value male (I doubt so. Hes a herb and you are settling). Then let's see if you are still questioning your immaculate relationship of my partner and I do equal chores together.

Why should it matter how much he makes?

Your income level signifies a persons Status and recognition. A high value male should be earning more than his partner.

Wanting to save the world indicates that he is striving for high status and recognition. that being said, he is going about it the wrong way. You need to be strong first before you can help others. The greatest philanthropist in the world all come from wealthy and influential positions.

Your Bf probably despises the fact you are earning more than him and every passing year this will be more and more obvious.

Of course, this is all based upon the info you have provided us. For all we know, he may be studying to cure cancer and that takes a noble time commitment and far greater of reward than income level.

Or he could be a liberal arts student who thinks making the world a better place means placarding and volunteering for rubbish causes.

Also, you are not living frugally by choice! Stop hamstering the fact that you are still a student and actually have not earned money big time yet...

My boyfriend actually finds it really attractive how successful I am.

Now that youve explained more esp what he is studying for. He is just amusing you.

Why is this true?

Various reasons. One being having a say in important matters. Usually its the partner who earns more. Women already have a lot of control in the sense that they control when to have kids, when to get married, etc. A man needs to be able to 'buy' his way into power and keep balance. A woman can't completely control when to have kids AND also financial decisions.. What good is a man for then? This isnt an equal relationship.

He is a brilliant physics student at a top school who wants to work as an advocate for nuclear power.

Haha.. Good luck. Your bf will be well into his 30s before he steps into a nuclear power plant. As noble as his actions may be, its actually really naive.

He will have to study to PhD level AND gain work related experience before he could get a decent paying salary at a nuclear power plant.

In the meantime; you'll be making all the important decisions and pulling the financial strings. Let's see how long you are willing to keep up this position of dominance and decision making.

I'm not going to dissect your entire post and talk about everything you said, I'll leave that to someone else. I just wanted to point out one thing to you. You said that you admit to having been attracted to other men during the relationship but you didn't act on it. (Bravo for not cheating btw) Now, what is it about those other men that attracted you? And to go with that question, how would it change your opinion of your boyfriend if he began to show those attributes?

There is no such thing as gender equality, or treating people "without regard to gender," because men and women are made differently.

To keep on the firefighter example, it doesn't mean that women can't build up enough muscle, or work hard enough to become firefighters, but it does mean that the majority of the current female firefighters will lose their jobs and never be able to get them back (because it's "too hard"), if they were ever to be held to the standards of male firefighters.

Gender equality is something made up by people who want to control others. Equal human rights (the right to be safe/protect yourself, the right to choose, etc) is what all people have, and always have had--anyone who doesn't have such rights is doing nothing to get/keep/maintain them (make some personal sacrifices for your rights and/or buy more guns).

Two pieces of advice...

  1. Read the links in the side bar.
  2. Head over to /r/redpillwoman to get a more touchy feely answer from a woman who has accepted red pill. They are probably more receptive to what you're trying to figure out.

TRP is not a sexist or misogynistic sub, no matter what askwomen has told you.

"I am a woman who recently learned about this subreddit elsewhere on the internet. I don’t agree with your philosophy and there are many lifestyle choices/opinions of mine you would not agree with, but I want to preface this post by emphasizing that this is not an attack nor an attempt to persuade."
Cool.

"I am not so naive as to believe anything I will say will change your opinions and vis versa, I merely want to better understand how you came to the opinions you did and how you continue to justify those opinions. Specifically, I am curious how you explain relationships like my and my boyfriend’s."
Cool. But first, TRP is a concept. The people who apply it (with great success, i might add) are not representative of the concept.

"My boyfriend and I have been together for over 3 years and plan to be so indefinitely."
Thats usually the plan in a serious relationship.

"We are deeply in love and very happy together. There is a high possibility we will get married someday. We are equals in nearly every way in our relationship."
Lemme stop you right there. In alot of ways, TRP is ABOUT equality. Sometimes it may not seem that way because in most situations, the only way to get equality is the antithesis of having a 'giving' mentality. Only going half way doesnt work. In a relationship like yours, youve just got a more balanced outcome. Which is a good thing. Its just not a very easy thing to consistently get.

"For example, although I am employed and he is not (we are both college students), we live frugally enough that he is not dependent on me financially or feels any pressure to spend money on me he cannot afford."
He shouldnt have to feel any pressure to spend any money on you at all. Im sure that wasnt how you meant it, but THIS is what TRP is about. He is not a walking wallet. Nor are you. Now, in TRP, having a woman buy you a gift is normally a good sign. Yes, thats inequal. But its often the only way to ensure she isnt expecting a form of servitude.

"We have been living together informally for 2 years, but formally moved in together this semester. We share the menial responsibilities of living together equally: we cook and do dishes together (except for occasional ‘wooing’ nights we take turns being in charge of); we share cleaning responsibilities; we joint care for our pets. We both keep open minds in discussions with each other and have changed each other’s opinions on multiple occasions. We have very open communication about sex."
Thats just a generally good relationship in my books.

"Although I have been attracted to other people while we have been dating, I have never had the desire to cheat, and never, ever would."
Thats good.

"I do not ‘shit test’ my boyfriend and he does not ‘game’ me."
Thats because youre not a bitch and he doesnt need to. But dont you see that you not shit testing people is the exception and not the norm, and him not needing to game you is luck on his part for meeting someone like you?

"He is my best friend and my partner. Additionally, it is relevant to note that, although I don’t self label as ‘feminist’ (I dislike the term), I do agree with the ideals of traditional feminism and feel that, in nearly every case, people should be treated without regard to gender."
I agree with gender equality. I strongly detest modern gender feminism and the matriarchal bullshit thats going on in a female privileged society. Remember: Feminism is more than just equality. Theres more than one kind of feminism. Furthermore, men and women are different. If you want to be treated like a man, bumping into a man can lead to a shove and a few blows to the head on a bad night. You dont want to be treated without regard for gender, you want to be treated with neither privileged nor discrimination. Thats never going to happen, because no matter what the law says, people will always be people and people have identitites, and opinions, and so on and so forth. Right now, im trying to stick to things i can prove.

"How is a relationship like mine explained by red pill theory? Are we just incredibly lucky? Are we actually in a red pill relationship and just don’t realize it?"
Sort of. Again, TRP is a concept. For all intents and purposes it seems to be fine.

"Are we actually not happy and just don’t realize it, or happy, but not as happy as we could be?"
Thats impossible to diagonose from here. If that were the case you wouldnt mention it in your post, eh :P

"Are we a ticking time bomb that is unsustainable?"
No.

"Does this relationship work for us but just isn’t the kind of relationship you want?"
That depends on the person, not TRP.

"I wasn’t completely certain what was important to include in the description of my relationship and didn’t want to inundate you with self-indulgent text, but feel free to ask me any questions you feel are relevant."
You gave me plenty, thanks. :)

Your relationship seems fine. Don't overthink this too much, if it aint broke, don't fix it! But remember, relationships are long bumpy roads and you will eventually encounter some problems.

Let me ask you one question though. How's the relationship between your parents? Are they both happy? And your boyfriend's?

Also check out our ladies at /r/redpillwomen if you want a womens pov.

People should be treated without regard to gender.

Men and women are inherently different, they are on different ends of the spectrum (that sometimes overlaps) due to hormone differences. Evolutionary biological differences between men and women (man has lots of seed, women can only manage one per 9 month period) mean that we have differing goals for propagation success. That has all lead to the difference between men and women, and why they should be treated differently (because they will treat you differently).

How is a relationship like mine explained by red pill theory?

Blue pill relationships work all the time. Until they don't. Your relationship may be perfect now, even from a Red Pill stand point, but eventually one of you is going to have their feelings change. All emotions are conditional, especially love, and eventually you'll be sick of him not being able to give you gifts or you'll begin to think since you earn more money you shouldn't have to take care of the pets and pay for their living costs. Maybe you'll wish you hadn't spent your college years in a relationship and had experienced the love of other people while you were in the perfect situation for it, so you'll try for the open relationship discussion and slowly have the relationship crumble around you from the inside.

Who knows, could be that you'll get to the age of 83 and still love each other, could be you'll get to the age of 83 and want to replace his heart medication with potassium cyanide because you've had to listen to him snore for the past 6 decades.

Just because your relationship is Blue Pill doesn't mean it won't work, but it doesn't disprove what we believe.

And for the record: I choose Red because everything I learnt as a kid was wrong. I was raised with feminine traits constantly being encouraged and masculine ones being suppressed. I was a little bitch my entire childhood, the Red Pill told me what I was doing wrong and I instantly saw improvement once I acted on the advice.

[–]LMS_THEORY_ 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Isn't TRP about self improvement, a man controlling his own destiny, free from feminist bias? If so then what possible effects could it have on the OP ' relationship?

I'm not going to comment on your whole post because I'm tired but let me make this point:

You say things are basically all equal in the relationship correct? You seem to fill his emotional needs (for a man this is not the most important thing in a relationship, despite what many guys say), he fills your emotional needs and, for a woman, this is probably the most important thing she requires. It would be extremely hard for anyone to argue that.

When I talk about emotional needs I mean having someone to talk to at home or someone to complain about things to. I think it is a fair assessment to say that in general women are more apt to need more emotional support than men.

It may seem like I'm not going anywhere with this, but stay with me here.

When it comes to sex, men are much more apt to have this need satisfied more than the emotional support. For women, sex is typically much lower on the totem poll and is not as big of a need to be satisfied when compared to the emotion support she requires. Again, in general this would be a hard argue.

A man is typically much more worried about getting his dick sucked like there's no tomorrow than worried about telling a girl how much of an asshole his boss was at work today. A woman is typically much more worried about telling her guy about her day and how big of an asshole her boss is rather than worrying about getting her muff licked like a lollipop all night.

This is thousands and thousands of years of evolution, there's a biological reason sex is important to men and a biological reason emotional needs are important to women.

Okay now, so now let me ask you a question. Does your boyfriend ever withhold listening to you or fulfilling your emotional needs because he's just not in the mood? My guess would be no, that's not the case or very rarely.

Now let me ask you this, Do you ever withhold sex from your boyfriend because you're not in the mood? My guess would be yes, you have. I would also gather to say that you have much more control over when then both of you have sex, correct?

How is it fair that he is always there for you, meeting your emotional needs, when you won't always be there when he requires you, for his sexual needs.

My point is, many woman state that their relationship is totally equal listing things like you did (both split bills, split the chores, blah, blah, blah), but when it comes down to it women in almost all cases are able to control the sexual encounters in the relationship, and thus creating a very unequal partnership.

Sex is not the most important thing in the relationship and I realize this, but it is still very important to most every man.

When a man takes The Red Pill, he is liberated from this power a woman has over controlling his sexual needs for many different reasons. He understands that he should be the one controlling the sex as well as the emotional relationship. A true Red Piller will in no way abuse this but rather meet all of his partners needs while also making sure his needs are met as well, thus creating a very equal relationship.

I'll just throw the ball right back to you.

Misogyny: Hate of women

What I said: Women do not "get" logic

So how does saying that women aren't logical translate to "I hate women"? Your answer just proves my point. Instead of trying to find a way to invalidate my argument, you chose to just use the killer argument of mysogyny (which doesn't work in this community anyway), once more proving that I was indeed right with what I said.

[–]MSoftHarem 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

This is one more warning than most get. Do not casually throw around the word misogyny again. We take rape and misogyny very seriously in this subreddit and anyone who misuses either term will be removed immediately.

Might I also suggest /r/RedPillWomen which is geared more towards women and relationships.

Without fail, every woman I have ever asked (or been present in a conversation where the topic came up) this question overrates herself. Even after making it clear that the things they think make them attractive (personality traits, style of clothing, whatever) can't be factored into the assessment they STILL overrate themselves. I used to be at a loss to explain it, but the deluge of validation from FB, Instagram, etc... has cleared up some of the confusion for me.

It's hard for anybody to say for sure without knowing more about the relationship, but there's pretty much two ways to view it.

The pessimist would say that you're fine dating him now, but eventually you'll start getting bored and unconsciously resent him for not being more ambitious.

The optimistic view is that he does do some red pill things, you just don't realize what those things are. Think about these questions:

Does he ever say no to you (not all the time, but at least whenever he legitimately disagrees with something)?

Does he ever tease you (not in a mean way, but if you trip and fall would he laugh)?

Is he needy?

These are the kinds of things that can effect his sexual value, but you don't mention.

Then there's nothing in Red Pill to suggest you shouldn't be attracted to him (although I'm somewhat of a moderate in terms of TRP).

Yes, we say no to each other when we disagree, because we are mature adults.

There are a lot of relationships where the guy will agree to anything the girl suggests, even if he disagrees. There was a post on /r/relationships a couple days ago where some girlfriend was attracted to the guy's best friend, and suggested an open relationship. Even though he strongly disagreed with it, he was thinking about saying yes.

[–]kudosxv 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You sound like a girl I know who settled with her husband straight out of high school. She constantly lies to herself and I catch her doing it but sometimes I'm too nice to call her out on it.

Example time: I was talking about how women like when their man gets attention from other women because it shows value and her emotions get revving. Doesn't matter if it's good or bad emotion they will be turned on regardless. She tells me women hit on her husband ALL THE TIME blah blah blah her husband is so great and it does nothing for her just gets her mad. I give up explaining this because women will never understand even their own emotions.

The next night we are having dinner and talking and I tell her to make a list about the +/- on her husband and their relationship. She mentioned she doesn't find him so attractive anymore and he doesn't really take care of himself. I personally know he doesn't do shit or leave the house so women do not hit on him like she told me happens all the time. She leaves him home to play MMO computer games when she goes out with friends.

My point? Women will lie to themselves just to make themselves feel better. Your relationship probably isn't as great as you're letting on which is why I think you're looking for answers here.
