We don't dissuade skeptics here; skepticism is healthy, and keeps you from fooling yourself with rationalizations. But that skepticism is born of study and understanding. Read - a bunch - and then get back to us. You aren't ready for this.

Ask yourself this:

"Does testosterone alter brain development?"

If you think it has no effect then you should support the "blank slate" concept that says men and women are the same. (and reject Red Pill)

However, if you've noticed that men and women are biologically different then you might like the Red Pill.

The question is:

"Idealism about equality" verses "biological difference that define gender".

...we here at Red Pill are "realists" and not "idealists".

I would honestly question the wisdom of your friend for trying to share this knowledge with you. You're clearly not of a mindset that you're accepting of it, and all he's doing is giving you blackmail material with which you can sabotage him socially.

Tell him it's not his job to save you from your blue pill mentality.

If I have this straight, you believe that there should be some sort of equality in relationships. You further believe that this equality is manifested by making each other feel special. So, by equality I'm guessing you mean some sort of reciprocity of emotional validation. Now, we get to the crux of the matter. You believe that for men mere words are enough to provide such emotional validation while women for some undefined reason, require a monetary or physical demonstration of affection.

Why do you need to reciprocate every "good job" and "I love you honey" with a bouquet of roses and a fancy dinner? Why isn't your love enough to provide emotional validation? If you don't have an answer to that question, you may be able to find the answer here. It's questions like that one that created this space. Some men will never accept the answers that this sub-reddit, and those like it, provide. Some men will only accept it after their girlfriend of three years breaks up with them or their wife leaves with their two kids. Others will accept it straight away because they recognize the validity of the facts presented and are able to set aside their old way of thinking. I sincerely hope you fall into the last category but I wouldn't bet on it.

Second, your question doesn't really make sense. You ask about equality but then say women are special. What is your actual question? Also, equality in the eyes of the law is not the same thing as physical, emotional, and psychological equality.
