We often lament about the fact that a woman's love is conditional, if your SMV drops/you become beta, her heart will go cold to you, even in a marriage. There is no undying love from a woman.
Of course it's natural for guys not to like this. You could marry a woman, and if you slip up (and you probably will), in a few years (or months) the sex will dry up. Eventually, there's a 50% chance she will divorce rape you. Guys don't like this aspect of a woman's love/sexuality.
However, in another thread someone brought up this idea: A mother's love for her kids is unconditional / A father's love for his kids is conditional
There are some benefits to conditional love, when raising kids:
A father's love for his kids is conditional... UPSIDE: it forces kids to grow up right (be good/don't be a fuck-up, and you'll get my love)
The downside of course is that there is no undying love from a father to the kids, the kids can't feel the undying love TINGLES from their dad, etc.
It seems this is the evolutionary benefit to a woman's view of love to MEN (not their kids). It forces their men to not be fuck-ups, THAT might be the females 'sexual mechanism' (I'm coining a term) at work, it's their current evopsychology forcing alpha behavior in men.
Women are mercenary. That's their nature. It's not something you can hate, they are just efficient. It's like hating the Terminator for being a killing machine... that's what it's designed to do.
