The abundance thing is true in many facets of life, not just with women. When you are financially/professionally successful, doors to greater success start opening in ways they never did before. When you have lots of friends, it's super easy to make more. Etc. etc.

It's both good and bad. Good, obviously, once you have abundance, but pretty bad before you do, because getting to abundance in the first place is the hardest part. For example, moving to a new city where you don't know anyone. That's often the hardest context in which to make friends and meet women.
