I actually found this sub reddit due to someone posting on the main page complaining that their brother was getting into redpill. Struck my curiosity. Here I have found all the inspiration to solve my beta issues, and need help.

I was recently dumped by an on again off again girlfriend. She had pushed me around and I took it because I didn't want to lose her, and never really stood up for myself. We took a road trip to visit her brother in the hospital. Not long afterwards, she basically stopped communicating with me. This of course turned on my needy drive, sending her texts saying I support her, and miss her. This was met with little to no response. I finally confront her when she's back, and she says she needs to be alone now. Code for, I'm done with you. I feel that her claim of, "needing to be alone to get my life together" was a line of shit. (she just quit a job and her brother is in the hospital after an accident) If that's the truth, then fine. Fuck me then...but given what I've come to realize I don't think women dump men they view as valuable and solid.

I realize now that, even though she couldn't say it, she broke up with me for my needy behavior and the fact that she could walk all over me. When times get tough, you don't dump someone that you care about or view as valuable. She hasn't contacted me, and I have not contacted her since, other than to return belongings. I know that is a good first step in regaining some sort of confidence.

Everything on this forum has helped me realize that I suffered from oneitis, and that really there's no reason for me to take her back. I can't help but feel that I've left such a weak impression on her. While I don't want her back as an LTR, she would be great as a FWB for the time being. Other than letting it go, and continuing to ignore her and any future contact from her, I was wondering if there was anything to say to her that wouldn't come off as pathetic, and maybe instill some interest in her. I don't want to substantiate her idea that I'm needy, but want to at least try and repair the beta attitude she has about me. I want to leave her with some sort of curiosity and manly impression. Was I dumped because she already moved on and wanted an excuse, exacerbated by my neediness, or did I cause it with needy behavior.

Does anyone have any thoughts?

Edit: I'm laughing at the idea that this is getting down votes. I came her for red pill guidance and clearly I'm an idiot. What is it a shitty story hahhaha?

Edit: So funny story, I've been completely not talking to her, and she texts me today thanking me for everything I've done for her and hopes my graduate school finals are going well. What is this about?
