You're driven by lust (which won't be reciprocated, though your body still desires it) to materially please and serve.

Weak beta men generally become this way to women who enjoy them, and enjoy the power they have over them, getting material benefits for the manipulative use of sex appeal (the covert contract of the beta's behavior being to hope he gets sex).

Typically, we disdain betas for this kind of behavior (as it is a mirror of a woman being slutty for alpha men, hoping by covert contract they can fool/ensnare them into commitment which they aren't worth)

I suppose if you're okay with this relationship, then you're okay with it. There's no point trying to help someone who doesn't want it or need it.

But I suspect there's a lingering resentment you feel over the way this person treats you.

Gay or straight; no one cares about you more than you.

And frankly, for the vast majority of people who aren't blessed to have living, loving, married parents and living siblings or 'real' spouses - - - pretty much no one cares about anyone but themselves.

Are your needs being met?

By you?

Are you doing what you need to do in order to live the best life you can?

Is 'serving' and supplicating someone who will not reciprocate in the way you want while you give them what they want part of respecting yourself?

Think on it.

Well not a lot of people on here are going to be able to relate to this. It's not like it was a bad thing to post, but I don't think any of us really understand why you would post that on here. tl/dr: Go and actively, purposefully engage in gay bdsm scene to get as much experience as possible, as quickly as possible. Fantasizing and dreaming harms your chances and builds resentment. Experience is key.

I'm coming from a place of knowledge, having known many people in BDSM community, and specifically numerous gay doms and subs of varying experience levels.

Openly submissive gay guys are awesome, or, rather, have the potential to be awesome. However, most often I see them spending their time dreaming and engaging in rare and dubious encounters that rarely bring them much satisfaction, and often only fuel resentment. That's exactly where you are at right now.

From what I saw, being overweight, lonely and without any prospects for romance is a likely outcome for a submissive gay guy - especially if he doesn't actively reach out and tries to engage with the proper people. On the other hand, I saw people in what appeared to be a happy relationship with definite sm dynamic.

Have you ever been with a proper dom that is interested in you? That might be not easy to find, mostly depending on your location and age, but is worth looking for.

The way I know it, gay doms, upon realizing what makes them tick, go out and actively seek encounters, ramping up great deal of experience and reputation in just a couple of years (assuming tolerant country). On the other hand, sub boy can stay in stasis, dreaming, waiting for miracle, and becoming resentful and disenchanted as years go. I know several people like that.

Any gay bdsm circle I've heard of, there's always more subs than doms. Being inexperienced will greatly impair your chances with a dom, if and when such opportunity arises. In BDSM, experience is key.

For now, you are wasting your time in a quasi-relationship with zero commitment from either side, and likely close to zero effort. Can you be satisfied and blossom as a sub under such circumstances?
