You did right. Onto the next girl. :)

A good way to deal with this is act exactly like a girl would.
After she said "I'll be there 7" drop the issue completely, and don't text her anything, like you forgot about her/lost interest because of your busy life. Let HER be the one to text you "Well?" or whatever. You're cool either way, she's the one hanging onto you.
She was using this opportunity to test you a little bit by being disagreeable. Don't hold their hand, when girls do that. Don't go out of your way. Don't be clear and forthcoming. Treat them as the strangers they are, often you can just leave it be. She didn't wanna accept your gracious invite to walk with you? That is just fine, the young lady can suit herself.
That's a nice response too: "suit yourself young lady". Dismissive yet charming yet she knows you're fucking with her, and now she might feel a little bad for not accepting, and want to backpedal. Don't easily let them when this happens. You get the idea, don't make life easy for women, women want a challenge!

Exactly what I was going to say. As soon as she said i'll be there at 7, I would've deleted her number. She's just not into it and the reason doesn't really matter. Eventually you'll get someone that is.

"Came here to post this"
My first thought at that line was deleted number.

Good work. Fuck that prissy little 666 Disney princess-raised cunt. No enthusiasm in the text. Just disagreeability and what seems to be a princess syndrome. Yea, fuck her. She's not a princess. She's a few wet holes, a giant pain in the ass, and a migraine x1000.

Good on you for putting yourself first in your life

If she's interested she'll be there if not, onto the next one.

a couple times that I invited her out to a dive bar and then again to some local live music she's declined to stay home and do nothing.
Is all you need to know. My last GF would drink red wine (she hated dry stuff, loved that sweet shit) and watch Shoot Em Up films with me. Just to be with me. Then fuck my brains out, of course. Somebody has a great post about this, forget who. A chick that wants to fuck you will climb through your bedroom window and hide in the closet when your wife comes. They'll make it happen. She doesn't want to do something? She's not interested.

I'm guessing this isn't the only circumstance where she's done this sort of thing to you. Some girls who change times do so because of real shit, usually if they only request one time change. If a girl reschedules twice or more on me, I consider her to be a flaky person, and next her. Maybe next time consider giving her one free reschedule - but it's important not to act butthurt that she flaked.
I think you could have done better handling her attitude with humor vs being stern. Her: Walk? Me: Yea it's only a half marathon/we could run if you really want to/etc.. instead of addressing her concerns directly. Imo it's better to address concerns like this with humor and exaggeration. Yesterday while walking some girls to a bar one of them said, "This place looks shady." My response was, "It's the shadiest bar in Japan." It made her laugh, she shut the fuck up after that. I'm sure you get the idea so I'll leave it at that.
I'm not really sure what you mean by what kind of shit you're putting up with, but it's good to have an abundance mentality. Quite literally the solution to women, is to go talk to more women.
Good luck brother.

....maybe she just needed the extra hour to get ready?

Attitude says different.
If she cared it would have been an apologetic I don't want to get left out message.
Always read cattiness into female texts. If it absolutely doesn't fit the words then she's genuine. Bitches are like cats their passive state is testy

Didn't need to be so harsh about it, sounds like. You don't want to express that you're put out or whatever, or say things she'll take that way. In the long run you want to work yourself out so that you aren't put out by things women do because women will always do things like this etc.
That said unless you want a relationship where you say 6 and she says "I'll be there at 7" and you just accommodate it like a bitch, you obviously had to say no. But I think it's better to do it in a way that leaves her the option of falling in line like nothing happened.
It's something guys get wrong all the time, where they think they're supposed to be tough and aggressive about these things. You don't want to be worked up at all - you're just going at 7. She can come too, or not. No big deal.
