Anyone on testosterone?

Co-worker of mine told me he was going to "Low T Center" (type of franchise clinic). So i decided to try it, covered by my med insurance, just a $25 co-pay, why not. Spoke to the Dr. there, though I'm not sure he is an actual Dr., but he clearly explained that this is all new science, and they monitor your blood for spikes in estrogen and white blood cells, as well as a slew of other things. He also told me that once a level of steady testosterone in my body is reached they will reduce the frequency of my visits. I am 38yo and married for 16yrs, 14yo and 4yo boys. So i naturally want to stay active in their lives, especially the 4yo. After that first injection I literally felt like I was 18 again. I work out with more intensity, sex is great and frequent, energy levels feel off the charts and have lost about 15 to 20lbs. I go about twice a month. This is something I decided to do myself because I don't feel I need that many injections, plus my work schedule is somewhat erratic, I work out at the plants and refineries doing inspections. For me, testosterone "therapy" has been a great experience, but I would suggest you go somewhere that will monitor your blood. I see all of the class action law suit commercials as well, but my opinion is everyone reacts different to things, its all relative in my mind. Good luck

I thought about going on TRT, maybe even when I'm older, but I don't like the idea of not being able to get off of it later. From what I've read, your body's natural production will slow if it realizes you're getting a fuckton from somewhere else.

EDIT: Should clarify, I already lift and eat very strictly (including almonds and brazil nuts), and occasionally take cold showers. I meant as a way of enhancing my performance and recovery in the gym. Not just to have higher T for the hell of it.

I read in Tim Ferriss' book that eating almonds and brazil nuts can help increase T levels. Also the cold shower thing, I forget where I heard that originally.

I can give some input on this. Been gyming naturally for 3 years, started taking testosterone blasting/cruising about a year ago. blasting 500-800mg/wk cruising 250mg/wk.

A point to note - its one of the best decisions that I've made.

After a year my balls are still a decent size, smaller by about 25%, but still decent nonetheless.

You do not need test at all, however while you are on it you will 100% make significant strength/size gains that definitely would not be possible without it.

If your diet is not right and you don't eat enough/get enough protein, even if youre taking testosterone at 500mg/wk+, it will be wasted and you will not progress at all.

Your blood pressure will definitely rise - control this through cardio and a clean diet and blood pressure lowering supplements.

As for your balls, eveyone will react differently, personally I'm still in a healthy range for sperm fertility and have normal sized balls even after a year. I don't care about kids at all.

In the UK a doctor will not prescribe it to you unless you actually have low test below the normal range, even then, the things prescribed will typically be testogel and if youre lucky you will get injections. However the prescribed injections will be at a dose of around 100mg/ampoule once weekly which will only put you in the normal range.

I get all my test through online UK domestic sellers, all UGL's never had a problem with them at all, £35 typically for 2500mg of test-e. It really isnt expensive at all, what would be more expensive is if you choose to cycle and do PCT. I can't talk about sources but if you search for uk domestic sellers on one of the top source sites the top 5 will be legit.

Buying from the UK, possession etc. of steroids is 100% legal. They're a Schedule 4 part II Class C controlled drug. However the law has exemptions for steroids making them entirely legal to possess even as a class C.

Didn't start puberty, got a tons of tests, including an MRI, then was put on it.
Oh yeah, without it I'd never "grown up".
If you use it within the prescribed limits it is safe, though it does increase your risk of prostate cancer I have been told.
No idea, I would guess if you have clear medical indication it isn't that hard. If you just want to "top up", probably a bit harder.

I would suggest to work with an endocrinologist if you want to be on the safe side and not just some doctor who has read an article or two about it.

I went to my flight surgeon/Personal Doctor because at 37 I felt I hit rock bottom: no libido, no energy, moody as fuck and just in general had no motivation for anything and everything hurt. Ran blood tests on me and said I went into Andropause. I guess that's why my old man acts the way he does too. He said we can do injections or the BioTe pellets and after a couple weeks it was back. Pulled more blood and said we need to increase the dosage in a couple of months when I'm due for another implantation and after that kicked in I feel like an 18 year old again!
