So there's no doubt in my mind that there's truth to seeing things from an evolutionary perspective. It's clear that men have historically (evolutionarily) played the dominant role and women, as a result, have "evolved" to be attracted to dominance. But I just have a few questions:
A commonly cited statistic is that 50% of all marriages end in divorce. That's a scary number. But what about the 50% that do not end in divorce? What is different about the men/women who get divorced from those that can actually maintain a commitment?
Does this really work on ALL women? Does this stuff work less on smarter/more educated women? Are more educated women more able adhere to "principles" or abstract ideas like commitment against their animal instincts?
And finally, if TRP is against marriage, what does it recommend for people who plan on having children?
