I think everybody should be aware of the actual "failure" rates of the different forms of birth control. It's in the New York Times article here. (archive today broke the graphs)

Pay attention to the pill and Depro-Provera(the shot) in particular. The giant gap between the "typical use" and "perfect use" should send everybody running to get a vasectomy. Women aren't even trying not to get pregnant.

No wonder so many people get sperm jacked.

I'd heard birth control had a fairly high failure rate, but this is so much worse than I had imagined. I consider myself very lucky to not have encountered a "failure" now, and I'm going to schedule a vasectomy asap.
