Summary

I was watching The Apprentice today, the original UK version. The task was to design and make a healthy food and pitch it to 3 retailers and whichever team acquired the most sales won.

Neither team received any orders so both were deemed to have lost. So situation was one or more from either team could get sacked from the process. Charleine was the project manager of her team, she screwed up by NOT THINKING RATIONALLY and basically didn't measure quantities of what she was putting into the food she was making, a major NO NO because how can they advertise nutritional values etc.

Anyways, when her team is being criticised by Alan Sugar within the space of 1 min she goes from stern faced as one of her colleagues is eloquently defending himself, to rapid eye movement from left to right, this was obviously done to make her eyes water, and finally she looks up almost as if she is accessing sad memories or imaging something genuinely sad to make her cry. Finally just as she is about to cry makes the most artificial hand gesture towards her face, letting Alan Sugar know "hey look I'm about to cry" he natutally , probably knowing she is faking but fearing the feminist reaction , tells her to go outside and take a few minutes.

Madam steps outside and instead of bursting into tears, as you would expect, her face dries up as quickly as hb10s fanny in the presence of a defeated once was the main man kinda guy. She walks back in tells her team she is not entirely responsible, so they can't blame her only! The guy responds with "I never mention you" To which she shuts up.

After this everyone is tiptoeing around her, the ruthlessness and calling people out no longer applies to her and guess what she survives. Imagine if a man had broken down and started crying for real, yet alone fake tears , he would be ridiculed

Actually last week one of the male candidates quite, like a man he said I no longer want to do this. Afterwards he stated that he left the process because he didn't want to win as he didn't feel that Alan Sugar would be the type of person he would want investing in his business idea and owning 50% of it. Yet he faced ridicule by many.

Lessons leaned:

Whether real or fake tears women have the "crying break" advantage at work, ACT like the white knight to also give yourself time. When she goes on her crying break act concerned and go n check up on her, or say I think it's unfair on xxx if we continue this while she isn't here. Also pay attention to how they start crying, this is difficult if you're talking in s group situation but when its forced there is a rigid process. Finally real tears will continue, probably get worst, when the leaves the room, fake tears will dry up as soon as she thinks she is alone.

TL:DR Bitch cries when the going gets tough but watching on TV you can see she forced the tears.
