Everything you do can and will be judged based on who you are and how you present yourself.

Chances are Mr. Wood is a bit of a geek and has little to no game. We know this because if he did, in fact, have game he:

Would have better options than this.
Would have been, if these types of counter culture (read: fat) women are his type, able to flip the right switches and push the right buttons to bed the hambeast
Would have been able to make a graceful exit from an interaction with an uninterested party.

A pick up attempt from a geek/beta/loser is "creepy". One from a talented puss slayer is a pleasant conversation that just so happened to end with his dick in her mouth.

File this under "Why You Need Game" and "Don't Shit Where You Eat".

Find a distasteful element or story in someone's past, then jizz it out all over the internet and mass media outlets as if it happened just this morning. Standard internet judgement protocols will disregard date, context, and any positive aspects of the individuals character. (Seriously, they could have given 8-figures to St. Judes in the past year and it wouldn't matter)

People don't give a shit when it happened, just that someone says it did. They're almost always willing to hold someone's ass to the fire just to see if it burns.

not really sure why he would care about being considered a "feminist-friendly" writer in an industry whose consumers are mostly male. and i wonder how many of those females are the relatively recent phenomena of manga fans.

he hit on a girl, probably with almost no game, and that set off her creeper alert. had he been more attractive, this wouldn't even be an issue.

anyways, all that is in the past.. 8 years ago, and he apparently has kept to associating with hyper-sensitive feminist types and blundering while hitting on them.

lots of mistakes made already, but a big one was his apology. every single time one of these public apologies is given, there is no closure. the apologizing party gets ridiculed even more, and now is linked to disgrace.

if he felt the need to say anything, it ought to have been along the lines of "sometimes i try to approach girls i am attracted to and it goes poorly. im pretty sure that happens to a lot of guys."

that or outright ignore her.

and also we see again that women are willing to burn any bridge they can for a bit of attention. what male comic producer is willing to risk hiring her now? a hyper sensitive woman willing to call a guy out for sexual harassment well after any reasonable amount of time, and after he has risen to a successful position.

This is like stuff I've seen about how women/feminists complain about sexism and how women are portrayed in movies.

If you don't like what's being produced, then produce something different yourself.

You write a movie - or in this case a comic - and portray women any way you want.

People generally create the things that they enjoy, and the things that they like to see, and if somebody else likes it, too, then that's cool.

Stop trying to get the whole world to tailor itself to your own personal wants/wishes/desires, and be the change.

I believe that if this was a man, he'd be told to "check (his) privilege" in a spot like this, no?

Some of the best comics in the industry are the ones that "supposedly" fem, but end up being RedPill all the way. For instance, She-Hulk. It comes across all fem because, "Strong womyn! Big girl muscles! She's a lawyer!" But She-Hulk is like the biggest whore in the Marvel Universe. She has literally fucked everyone except Wolverine, because of his ONEitis for Jean Grey, and Spiderman, because he's a emotional tampon.

Which proves the point that having super/metahuman powers doesn't necessarily make you an Alpha.

Since when did hitting on someone become synonymous with sexual assault or harassment? I swear a time will come when every man will have to submit a written application in triplicate and have it properly notarized just to look at a woman without getting heat for it.

And it's always interesting how some girls have these sorts of problems over and over and over and over again while other girls never do. That's very telling to me.
