So I typically lurk, but noticed something today on Reddit that I just wanted to share. I see a lot of posts on here and some other subs about how the world is submitting to the Matriarchy and especially sites like Reddit are doomed. I kind of just blew it off as I scour the fitness subs and those that display women hardly clothed or not at all. But for some reason this morning I did some reading of posts and noticed what you guys have been talking about.

There was a post in gaming that was the first to bother me. The Facebook comment doesn't bother me so much, because it doesn't HAVE to look feminine. She is right. But in games, 99.9% of the time the armors look female and masculine because, well that is just how they are and have been forever. The guy in the FB comment had terrible wording and really didn't need to post at all because he was asking for confrontation. Maybe that is his sort of thing. If so more power to him for wanting to argue. It is when you get to the comments here on reddit for the post.

The premise I find most disturbing is that the person seems to think not appearing feminine is inherently bad for a woman

How did you come to this conclusion?

Edit: deleted my comments because I'm tired of getting pms telling me I'm stupid and misogynistic

Poor SOB was getting hate mailed and just gave up.

That's just the thing though, expecting that you need to be able to KNOW someone who is masked and armor is female IS sexist. Gender is not the most important aspect of this character. She just happens to be fulfilling a certain role in the movie as this character and also happens to be female.

That is just one of many comments to insist that merely wondering if a character is male or female is sexist and misogynistic. I think that contributor was also raped while posting.

they're just saying it's hard to distinguish gender. But why is that important?

Because he wanted to know. Who the fuck are you to decide what information he wants?

You guys can keep reading the mindless babble all the way down if you'd like.

I was on fitness and saw a guy posting about his SO wanting him to hit the gym less. There was a mix of responses of course, but in abundance White Knights and SJW's were telling him he was obsessed with the gym and to cut back. He goes 8 hours a week. 2 hours x 4 days. I commented in a very TRP way and of course had a reply in 5 minutes. Nothing positive you can assume.

I think the top comment straddles the line of both sides a little.

Ok, some terrible comments in this thread, from what I see. This is like any other "time together" issue that couples go through. My wife will get annoyed when I get home from work and tell her I'm going to do some power cleans and pullups. She wants to spend time with me, esp with me working long hours we don't have a ton of time together. So I reduced my video gaming time to make sure we spend some time together. I don't get to get home from work, workout, THEN play video games. I need to prioritize HER and sacrifice time where I am willing to. You just need to make sure you're balancing your time appropriately. Less reddit and more time with her? Sure. Make certain weekdays or weekends "date nights"? Sure. Do what works for you. If that all fails, sit her down and explain why this is important to you. She doesn't have to understand why, but she should appreciate that it is important to you. If that fails, you guys have issues (and then you can go ahead and take the other comments' advice).

And then this comment to follow it up.

Right! My wife got pissed when I was waking up early to swim and coming home late from the gym or raiding on the weekends...I realized when I did the math I had only spent about eight hours a week with her for almost a month before she snapped me out of it. I was being selfish with my time, but I felt justified because it was "for self-improvement". It didn't help that she mostly wanted to "cuddle and Netflix" (literally) and I find watching television really boring.

So to get to the point. This shit really is happening. It may not seem like a big deal, but from what I noticed, the guys that speak somewhat Red Pill or even just middle of the road, but not necessarily agreeing with Blue pill get berated and thus quiet down. This is a trend that needs to change. It is disgusting to have an opinion and have a hundred hens clucking all over you with their warped sense of logic, or lack of.
