I believe girls can reject you for a number of reasons (independent of SMV), whereas if you ARE low SMV and rejected you will get the added bonus of creep shaming.

More on topic, I think that girls cry sexual harassment because they don't know how to have basic social interactions with the opposite sex (without alcohol...even then it's just sexually charged). They've been brainwashed that every male they see is a potential rapist.

I've had an instance where I am walking to class and there is a girl walking ahead of me. This is broad daylight, a busy university campus and the girl was fat and thus not my type. She starts looking back at me as if I am following her, and speeds up her pace. I keep walking normally. She gets to the building, opens the door, looks at me coming towards the door, closes the door, runs by me saying "Oh I'm in the wrong building." Really? Maybe if she wasn't too busy hamstering a rape scenario in her head she'd pay attention to where the hell she was going.

I also ride the subway a lot, so I figured I'd try talking to girls there. I notice that there is a girl who's staring at me as soon as I enter the car. She's a solid 5-6 but I need practice anyway. I make eye contact, she looks away, so I pull out my book and read while standing. She keeps staring, so I sit down in a seat diagonal to her and decide to talk to her. The conversation basically went like:

Me: Hey, it's okay to smile you know, don't look so depressed. (I am smiling. This is obviously a joke)

Her: Excuse me?

M: I noticed you were glancing at me and I decided to come talk to you.

H: Oh...I uh...wasn't looking at you. I was looking at your book. What's it called?

M: The way of men. (The cover was facing her)

H: Ok. (She puts her headphones back in, I go back to reading).

The kicker? Her face is red and she KEEPS STARING AT ME. I ignore her until she leaves at her stop. If the roles were reversed and I were staring at her, I guarantee she'd make a scene about how I'm raping her with my eyes.
