Developing college SMV

The thing about college is that it is far harder to differentiate yourself. The people who are scholarship athletes, naturally good looking, or have rich parents (these are the guys with BMWs or really nice apartments) will have a huge advantage. If you did not win the genetic lottery or you didn't not luck into being born into a rich family you are fighting against significant tailwinds.

This is why I recommend that for most men, they should not sacrifice their academics for women. Focus on your academics. Don't drink too much or do drugs. After you graduate college, that is when your decisions and work ethic will have real impact on your SMV. If you are smarter than average, then you will get the higher income and that will lead to access to higher social networks and other status increases. If you workout harder than average, then it will really show (a lot of men and women blowup during and/or after college due to excessive drug/alcohol use, lack of workout, decreased metabolism as the body naturally stops growing taller, etc).

This is a marathon. Things will keep getting better when you graduate college. Your SMV keeps going up from age 22 until about 35 or so. But what you do in school now will largely determine your entire career path. So make sure you have your priorities straight.

Ok, so you know that saying that doesn't work. So say something else. Like "maybe, are you going?"

Who cares if you don't show up. Yeah it's bullshitting but it's like a socially correct form of bullshitting that isn't necessarily a bad thing.

IDK personally I think you're worried too much about SMV and IOIs when it sounds like your problem is a lack of a social life. Dating and women are part of being a social person. Don't expect to be a part of that if you're not making any time to be social.

It doesn't have to be frats or parties every night. But I think forcing yourself to have more of a social outlet would help you a lot. If you really don't have time for people then how will you have time for any women?

You've said it all IMO.

I agree that you're going for the wrong type of woman. Focus on your academics, and work on your day game. The bar sluts want a frat guy, but I guarantee there are plenty of women on campus that give much greater value to academics. Its a numbers game, just keep casting.

Personally, I'd trade a point or two on looks for a harem of academically motivated women that don't get shitfaced regularly. (low count, intelligent, personality) but I'm more LTR oriented anyway.

I am in the same situation as you are! I was considering rushing frats this semester, but I found it too time-consuming. Greek life at my college is bigger than at most colleges... are there any great alternatives to joining fraternities for social proof?

I would suggest focusing on your major and academics, first I am going to address your assumptions and then give my advice. I think that a lot of people miss characterize both lifting and dressing well. Neither are about spending ten hours a week doing the activity or spending hundred of dollars. A lot of lifting is simply finding a well rounded plan that you can do in forty-five minutes to an hour, three times a week. Start off small and work towards a better you. You will not get swell in any time less then a year so get a plan that you are prepared to do over the long term well classes are mild and busy. Also, fashion is not about buying the one hundred dollar t-shirt, it is about knowing that you cannot wear a hoodie every day and definitively not to clubs. Figure out what pant style fits you well, what haircut works for you and wear the correct sized shirts. A well fitted t-shirt does wonders on skinny or fat frame.

As for how to increase SMV, I think it is important to focus on academics for the long game. Very few will be impressed when you are in the introductory classes, however, when you are in the highest level classes that most cannot get into people, especially women, will start throwing themselves at you. Case and point example is that yesterday I ran into a girl I knew in intro chem but did not talk to for several year. When she asked me what I was in this semester and I said biochemistry she instantly asked if I wanted to hang out that night and if I had gotten into medical school yet. College in about the long game, freshmen year simply go out because they are willing to accept anyone for the night. By senior year girls start thinking of the long term and being in the top level classes impress them a lot.

The best advice is join a frat. Frat life is a tool kit for how the men you want to know your whole life live. Failing that join a focused extracurricular that gets good looking girls around. Student politics often works for that, and is good for the resume too.

And you can make the studying work. Get up at 7 am and spend 7:30 am to 4:30 pm in class or at the library, no bullshitting, Monday to Friday, and every second you aren't fratting or extracurricularing otherwise. No TV or games period.

College in the US is just so tricky and makes no sense. To get the hot women, you have to run with the "in crowd" and the easiest way in for that is being in a fraternity. Girls in college are young but they are also poor judge of quality men, a lot will go for average looking frat boy types and not care much for the above average looking guy who is in a tough major. Hot girls in college are cliquish to where even if they are into you, they will not go for you because they are scared of what their friends might think. Daily they have to worry about what their friends who they constantly run into think of them for hooking up with a random guy.

I say lift to get a better body for the future, day game, and make FRIENDS with girls. Do not make girls into your girlfriends, make them into your friends and make a lot of friends with girls.

day game and escalate hard. It sounds like you go to a big school so don't worry about getting shot down, if you are at a party and you rarely party of course you are at a disadvantage. If you are on campus though, and just walk up and say(Hopefully with eye contact immediately before hand, hold that if you can), "Hey, I thought you were attractive and just wanted to see what you were like."

Be upfront and practice escalating kino. Hold her hand as long as you can when you grab it to introduce yourself, even if thats 5+ mins. Make her remove her hand, but hold eye contact and keep moving your mouth. joke with her mak a good impression get her number, and then invite her over to your dorm for "homework". I am telling you right now though, if you start spinning plates, which this initiates, your studies will suffer.

All the other points are valid but I'm just a gonna throw out, have you considered rushing? Not every fraternity will fuck up your academic life; in fact the right ones will probably help it.
