Intro

You will notice as you have more in depth relations with women that your honest appraisal of yourself, and hers, often differ. Regardless of what flaws you have and who you are, when a woman is truly hooked on you (that is to say you are her primary focus), her hamster will always find a way to airbrush them away. When you have gotten past the initial game stage, and you fuck a girl the right way, she will begin to see you through dick-tinted lenses. In her eyes, you are a titan, a supermodel, and royalty all at once. This post is about not fucking up this perception.

Walk the Walk

Girls will wear “the glasses” only as long as you allow them to - as long as the attitude and actions you present to her match the image of you she cooks up to put in her Library of Mental SymbolsTM . Since she likes you enough to sleep with you in the first place, this will be a favorable image. When it comes to forming a mental perception/categorization of you, essentially she will substitute your implied opinion of yourself for her own. If you walk, live and breathe confidence (a skill you get from lifting heavy objects, learning from your mistakes, and talking to girls), it implies that you are, in fact, hot shit. She will believe this implication even though you, like most of us, are probably just another nobody in a crowd of 4 billion males.

[Note for Aspies: this does NOT mean talk about what a confident alpha gigachad you are, you will come off as trying to bluff away insecurity. Words are cheap, implication is priceless.]

If she thinks you’re king, don’t contradict her.

In the past, too often have I (and you presumably) ruined a girl’s comfortable hamster-powered mental image by calling attention to my insecurities or behaving like I saw myself as a loser. While nobody is perfect, and pretending that you are is usually a sign of an underlying personality disorder, there’s no need to shatter The Glasses by elevating or making a show of fretting about one’s own flaws. It is not your flaws themselves that are off-putting to a woman, but your attitude regarding them.

One morning after we got out of bed, I stood in the bathroom with a girl I’d been seeing to brush our teeth and begin the day. I smiled to inspect my crooked, fucked up teeth in the mirror, and even as I made a mental note to see a damn orthodontist, she remarked on how attractive she found my smile. I did not whine to her about how I wish I’d worn my retainer like I was told, I did not correct her that “ackchyually, my shit is fucked”. I told her she could see more of it if she joined me in bed again before work (so she did).

DGAF like a champion and she will see you as a champion. It doesn’t matter that you aren’t really Genghis Chad, or that you have [debilitating imperfection]. Leave it to her hamster to whitewash that. In essence, all you really have to do is own who you are with pride and humor, stay the course on your own mission, and lay pipe like she’s never had before.
