Preface: I am new to TRP, so correct or Beta-talk.

I've been reading TRP a lot lately and have been gradually using the techniques/mindsets in my everyday life, and it has definitely helped me. One thing I am still unclear on is the line between aggressively pursuing a female and acting like you are not interested (bc you have other options).

There have been many posts that rave about the efficacy of openly going after a woman and showing your interest in her; it is masculine and shows that you are not scared of rejection or sexuality. However, there have been equally as many posts that preach being aloof and not displaying great interest, so as to not give up the power you possess in the dynamic with you and the female.

Is this more of a timing thing: aggressively pursue, fuck, then show disinterest (conversely showing interest in other)? Or is it more dependent on factors like what type of girl you're dealing with?

I understand TRP is more about self-empowerment and that the women come along with that confidence and success; I get that it's not strictly about getting pussy. However, I am a newbie that just wants to make the most of my last semester of college and I'm sure there are at least a few others like me on TRP. I'm just looking for some insight regarding this contradiction I've noticed.
