This story has nothing to do with women and I'll keep it as short as possible.

Last year, I was interning at some company and my roommate invited me to play soccer with his friends. I was in the worst shape of my life (pre-TRP) and hadn't played soccer for years and hadn't been active for months. The first time I joined them, I played only a few minutes and I almost died after my first sprint. I had to stay out for the rest of the night like I had a heart-attack. It was humiliating and I even noticed some of them joking about it. They all talked in Spanish and I had minimum communication with them in English which is my second language. So I was basically a dumb outsider who can't even play and a joke subject.

For the next two weeks, I did cardio at least every other day. I joined them for another session two weeks later (I skipped one in the middle to make sure I'm ready). This time, I was able to stay on the pitch and show some of my long-forgotten skills. I ended up scoring and assisting most goals of their team. Even though the game was a neighborhood league thing and nothing important, I received a lot of respect from their social circle. A few of them initiated talking to me afterwards and called me MVP. One of them asked what I had done since the last time! They had noticed the transformation and respected it. I continued to receive the respect in the company and at the end, they told me to join them again if I ever came back there to work.

The point is, even a very small unimportant transformation does not go unnoticed by people around you. The respect you get by other males of your social circle is a huge boost to your SMV, and more importantly makes your life easier in overall. Try to be perceived as someone who takes himself seriously and actually gets his shit together when he should.

TLDR; Improve yourself and people will notice and respect you.
