I've been following the ebola epidemic because frankly it terrifies me, and I've noticed that there are a lot of women on the front line. Perhaps my perception can be explained by documentary teams deliberately interviewing women because of the novelty factor, but women do have a significant presence in healthcare so perhaps the ratio (I'd say at least 3:2 women to men) is accurate.

I'm posting this here because we tend to commonly accept that men are disposable. Here's a case of women being disposable as well.
