I love that feeling in the pit of my stomach when I read something very revealing. It's usually a commonly held double standard that you don't think much of.
"Women need no fault divorce to avoid the horrible fate of being trapped in marriage"
That one really gets me.
Though they'd like you to think the reason women are trapped and not men, is because men have money and jobs and they can leave whenever they want.
But I think we know better.

This is anecdotal, you're right. Not everything we see here can be backed up with science. But these are sentiments that many of us have heard in real life. I know I have. I can relate to these, and many of these as double standards never even occurred to me.

That's true- but the more independently verifiable something is, the more we can depend on it. Something like this post is vulnerable even to those who sympathize with you. We owe it to ourselves to sure it up better.

One of the downsides of social sciences haha.
Studies show hypergamy exists - women are more attracted to people that are more successful regardless of looks or personality. Additionally, a study in England posted here a while ago showed this was seen in 90% of marriages.
I think the best independently verifiable proof of female hypergamy is GAME.
The fact that game exists (because women have breached the social contract)
The fact that any man can be successful with game once adequately applied
I think that stands testament to the truth behind what we say here. Pick up girls, see pre-selection, see rationalization, see the hamster in action.
