Hi again TRP! I've been posting/lurking here for a couple of months and I wanted to ask you a question I've been wondering about.

When females go into "unconventional" fields for their gender (math, science or other STEM-type fields), does that mean that they differ from most women somehow? I am currently dating a girl who's going to school for comp-sci/math, and she seems to genuinely enjoy it. Is this a sign that she is different from most females and worth keeping around, or is she still inherently less "academically intelligent" than men (I don't quite know how to word it, but I'm trying to refer to the way that females are less interested in expanding knowledge and are not as good at problem solving type stuff)?

Also, as a sort of side question, I was wondering if it's something to be concerned about if she isn't interested in generally feminine things like keeping up her appearance with nice clothing, keeping her apartment nice looking and stuff like that.

Thanks (: appreciate it!
