TL:DR Briffault’s Law Trumps Dread. Don’t get involved with broken girls. No dread, no sex. Don’t get married. Jesus Christ, you’re getting married aren’t you? Fuck, get a pre-nup.

My wife used to threaten divorce frequently. After several rounds of playing ‘divorce chicken’ where I would swerve I decided to white knuckle the wheel and go through the divorce. I couldn’t take the constant threat of it anymore.

She did it with typical hypo-agency. She threatened divorce again, but said I had to say it, and I had to file. Better believe that after that the house was clean and my food was cooked for several days, until she realized that I was truly filing. So, dread was in effect. Once she realized it was happening she stopped all efforts and moved out. If I was a natural Machiavellian I’m sure that I would have been able to handle my AWALT, used dread w/o filing, or file and drop, but I don’t have the natural skills set. Plus, she really is a terrible wife and lazy mother. I don’t know why I get so morose. I was miserable from the honeymoon . I was raised blue-pill by a single mom. Going to have to work on that.

She wanted a commitment that I wouldn’t sleep with anyone until the divorce was final. I told her that the best way to keep girls out of my bed would be to stay in it. She has not been as affectionate and respectful to me in years. We do the kiddie change over at church and she would touch my stomach, rub my beard, or shaved head as she walked by. We had sex about every week and a half while we were separated. She said she didn’t want to feel dirty by having sex out of the marriage. I was beginning to be encouraged. I suggested that we take a year or two to concentrate on ourselves and try and re-build from the ground up. She shot that down. She is going to take the money and pay off her debt and try to buy a home. So, while the dread was getting me sex Briffault’s Law was telling her to take the money.

At this point I had been on several dates, but not closed out of hope for reconciliation. I even had a tinderslut schedule a bone with me and I passed. The Onetits was strong in me. After about 6 weeks of separation, and some of the best sex in years, I committed not to have sex until the divorce was final. She had sex her BF a few days later. That was the AWALTiest thing ever. I’m fairly sure that If I had not committed to just having sex with her, she would still be coming by. Ah, well- lesson learned. Someone here may learn from my mistake. No dread, no respect, no sex. I have sex scheduled with another tiderslut this Friday, hopefully that will help the Oneitis.

She very well may be bi-polar, or have some other issue. She ain’t well-adjusted that’s for sure. But she was a cutter before me, and at the very beginning of the relationship. She had an abusive boyfriend that (she says) date-raped her. If you ever meet a girl with such a past, don’t get involved.The personal cost to you is too high.
