Honestly she's holding him back. The whole post is her her her her, she doesn't once congratulate him or say she's proud of him for what was most likely a lot of effort and dedication. All she is concerned about is how he's getting more attention than her.

A quality girl would have never written that post in the manner/wording that she did.

The title is kind of manipulative. She states she met him after he lost all the weight. The title makes one assume that she was with him when he was fat, which changes the dynamic of the situation.

Nonetheless, this is the trade off when it comes to having an attractive bf, regardless of whether she is his first gf or not. Being attractive means that all the girls want him, and the attention is VERY compelling. She needs to understand that and do what it takes to keep him, else he'll find something better.

She can try to not be jealous but instead COMMUNICATE, figure it out, and do things that will catch his eye, since he is catching the eyes of others.

Considering the power is in his court, and if she doesn't wise up, he'll be moving on in no time.

He was getting in shape before he met her, and she probably wouldn't have given him the time of day when he was fat. She's exactly like one of the women she's complaining about hitting on him. She only noticed him once he started to get ripped. Biggest hypocrite but the salient point is if you are good looking, you will have options and that is a power thing in most women's minds and makes them insecure when they're looking for someone to lock down into commitment.

Note that she was this guy's very first girlfriend. I bet that guy if he has any brains at all knows what's up. Women like her wouldn't have even touched him when he was fat. She even seems to acknowledge it.

I'd like to address the point on getting fit, and hypocritical women.

Your insecure bitterness is showing. A big reason he got fit is to get girls like this, and not some dumpy fugly chick. There is nothing hypocritical about a person wanting a good looking mate and looking the other way when one doesn't meet your standards. We do it all the time. Happens to every fat girl who got fit and revealed a hottie. That shit just happens and you're accomplishing nothing by bitching about why this girl likes him now. The beauty and the beast is a myth. You or I or her won't fall in love with a tubb because "they are a beatiful person" on the off chance that they could be hot underneath all the ugly. So drop that second rate thinking and focus on some real issues.

He never said anything about what the guy was doing, only what the woman was doing. You've just overreacted to something that doesn't exist. Are you female?

He said the woman was being hypocritical. She said, I went out with him because he was fit, and then followed up by saying "I get jealous when other women look at him", when she was doing exactly the same thing they were doing, but first. He then said a woman has to be insecure about locking down a fit guy to commitment.

So, nothing in particular about the guy. You've taken nothing, and added "Your insecure bitterness is showing." Smooth.

Except there's a world of difference in men's standards of "Don't be fat" and the female standards of "Must be really fit" before you get anywhere near the amount of attention as the average woman.

If the amount of time and effort expended in the two were in any way near equal I'd agree that it's "insecure bitterness" but it's not.
