In a conversation a friend was saying yeah I think I could totally manage my career while running a restaurant which is my dream. The group basically in unison responds no one can manage a restaurant let alone have a separate career alongside. Someone mentions her boyfriend could help out and it would be manage able. However her boyfriend has a high degree in a high paying field.

So she responds with "yeah he can't be working in a restaurant, he needs to making me money" this was not followed by any sarcastic laugh and said with a completely straight and stoic facial expression. She's also in a shitload of debt so that furthers my understanding that this is a 100% serious and original thought.
