Whilst eating lunch today, I recieved a reinforcing lesson on beta shaming courtesy of some girls in my social circle. For your reading pleasure, we have Carla and Susan.

Carla and Susan are both high SMV girls who, thanks to the contemptable dogma of modern media, see themselves as the pinnacle of perfection. These girls, after complaining about the lack of "good" guys, initiate a conversation about Brad, a moderately attractive, but terminally introverted guy. Susan, a girl with a relatively long history with Brad, begins by talking about how he listens to her, gives her comfort, and how he is generally "there" for her. Ah.... The dream guy who champions the young princess's preservation, and for those versed in TRP, a man stranded in the vast vacuum of the sexual dead zone.

Carla, in response to Susan's comments, brings up how Brad asked her out on a date- an experience she just "couldn't find herself enjoying". She talks about how she couldn't just say no to him, so she just walked away and pretended that it never happened. This in turn sparked Susan to recall how once, in a "moment of weakness", he held her in an attempt to comfort her. I had to stop myself from choking on my half-eaten hamburger as she said this and followed up with how disgusted she felt afterward. After a few remarks about his inability to attract any women he fancied, a negative sort of selection (perhaps pre-rejection), they concluded with the following: "But he sure is a NICE GUY."

I wouldn't say nice guys always finish last, but they certainly do finish alone.

So what was the first eye-opening experience you had where women bashed on betas and what did you think?
