Short post and not sure if it'll get deleted but please guys, get your fucking testosterone levels checked. I've suffered for many years with depression, brain fog, fatigue, anxiety and all this other bullshit. Antidepressants don't work (it's a hormone issue not a dopamine issue). I monk mode and trained like an elite level athlete for 20 years, ate clean and did everything right, but I have felt inexplicably suicidal and depressed for the last several years to the point I now can't exercise regularly because I am knackered almost as soon as I wake up, which caused a domino effect of lowering my T even more and causing more symptoms. Just had my T levels checked and I am way below normal even by NHS standards.

If you have ANY of the symptoms of low T, get bloods done. It's not expensive and many private clinics offer it. Make sure the test includes total T, free T and SHBG at the ABSOLUTE MINIMUM. If you can get a blood test that includes LH and FSH, even better as it will tell you if the problem is your brain not sending enough signals to the balls, or if your balls just don't produce enough. And this is mega important. Don't just hop on TRT injections without investigating the root cause or you're on it for life. There are less invasive oral meds you can get if the blood results show your brain is not producing enough signals.

Please guys, don't beat yourself up until you know, because everything in life takes so much effort with hypogonadism. You absolutely CANNOT force yourself to "just do it" if your levels get low enough. It's like trying to sprint through mud. I have abused myself for years pushing myself beyond my physical and mental limits. My levels are so low it's a miracle I'm even alive let alone working and exercising (can only manage once a week now). I haven't started treatment yet but I am so excited for that the future brings. If I have been as successful as I am with these low levels, I can't wait to see what I can do when it's treated. If you suspect then get it checked NOW, don't suffer for years like I did.
