Also, the phone is used, and the previous owner(s) installed crappy baggage apps that you cannot uninstall. Ironically, because you've taken great care to avoid installing those apps, the phone secretly hates you. It demonstrates that hatred by telling you who you can call and when - basically being really overbearing and controlling.

The phone was sold to you with the promise that, "hey look, it has email and calendaring! It'll really help organize your life!" but in reality, it takes the liberty of running your life for you.

Oh and there's a 50% chance the phone itself will decide to cancel the contract. You'll still have to pay the cancellation fee though.

Haha yup. And it's a good idea to have a personal phone, a work phone, get a temporary phone when you go on vacation overseas, a couple burner cells for whatever reason...

Well, since there are no downvotes anyway.

I get the idea and marriage is certainly something to really think about. There was a great analogy on a blog about it being like playing russian roulette with only one chamber empty, or just not picking up the gun in the first place or something.

I do love my wife, she is a good women and she is learning to understand how to do that as I learn to understand being a man. Do I sometimes listen to her whine a bit... yup but she also cooks and helps raise my children.

To be honest, as much as I miss some freedoms and as bad as things were early in the marriage, my kids (yes, they are mine, 100% scientifically proven) are the best thing in life, ever!

So, yea marriage I could do without, although I think mine is pretty good. The kids... I could not live without them.

If your only goal of marriage is getting something, like sex and romance, don't marry. If your goal is making something, family, kids, marry. In this second case it is a wrong parallel. It is more like a 25 year contract between two businesses cooperating to research and entirely new type of product.
