I don't know what SO means. She's being very greedy though.

I would definitely go, but I don't have a oneitis holding me back. That said its a bad sign when people want to stall your life for their minor benefit. She should be able to take out a loan if it was that big a deal.

Instead she's trying to beta you and force you not to go. She wants you to wait till it is a nice time for her to go. If she had the same chance she would probably go without you I'd assume. Even if she says she wouldn't.

I would be looking a lot harder at this girl if I was considering ltr.

As usual in questions not concerning infidelity, the question you must ask yourself is, "What would I do if I didn't have a girlfriend?" That is the course of action you should then take. You should allow noone to keep you from a fulfilling life.

If she wants to go so badly, perhaps she could learn the art of setting long-term goals and saving money, instead of entitlement and short-term gratification.

Once you allow a woman to dictate your actions - especially at something huge like this - then you have lost the relationship game. This will be the precedent (or is it?) that sets the tone for the rest of your time together. She will try to guilt / shame / bully you into doing what she wants, and she will resent your weakness when you fold.

Also, if she has any inclination to take a quick spin on the carousel or branch swing on you, she will use your trip to justify it. Either way, your choice is simple: give in and look like a bitch or go, have fun and deal with her shit tests when you get back.

A woman is going to do what she's going to do regardless of what you want. Why must we seek their approval in all things? Just point out that if she really loved you, she'd be happy for you and support you. It's nice to throw the burden of guilt on them for a change.

Go on the damn trip, and have so much fun. Just to spite her. Also, be warned. She's gonna look for attention from other guys because of this.

Try to basic logic her, like "You wouldn't pay for my trip if you were going to [insert a random shithole] in vacation without me "

If she still doesn't get it by logic, try the feels, with the classical "Can't I have time with my friends !"
