I can imagine having a son and him saying this. Anyway, ask yourself if it's your sexual frustration or your sense of self worth that needs validation. What is the true "release" you need?

IMO, your girl is shit-testing you. She withholds, acts emotionally up-and-down. To see if you are a rock. You don't say "what's wrong"? And you definitely don't bend over or compromise yourself, or sell yourself short. That shows to her she can control you, and no woman wants that. If she's not giving you what you want, dump her and move on. She will only give you what you want if you are unaffected by her manipulation and willing to walk away when she crosses your boundaries or plays games with you. Be strong. Be a rock. Be a man. If you walk away, and you lose this one because she's too proud or stubborn, other women will notice that you didn't give in to her childish shit-tests and that she lost out on a strong guy. It may suck, but it's for your own good. It teaches you frame- how you should be fully concerned with your own needs and have an abundance mentality.

Also: look at actions, disregard words.

if she isn't showing affection is because you gave off needy vibes and that turns her away, the worst thing you can do is want her to be affectionate again and running after her thinking that will help. listen to other advices here. ignore her. read about freezeouts and have some respect for yourself.
