From what little I know, the Golden rule here is that you make absolute certain you're not experiencing one-itis.

Meditate on this. Take some time to observe your thoughts. If you don't naturally think of anything negative about her, something you have qualms with, you're in the danger zone.

Your goal here, I'm assuming, is to be your own man while taking care of another person's child while her old fuck buddy hangs around for the rest of your life.

Maybe taking a step back and asking yourself a series of questions is best.

What do I want RIGHT NOW? To fuck her? To build a family? Both, equally? Are you feeling impatient with either? (Hint: You should not, the latter especially should never be rushed)

What might I want 10 years from now? (If 'not taking care of a kid that is not my own', or 'having to include my SOs old fuck buddy in my life' even brushes your mind, fucking bail)

Do I genuinely want this woman in my life or is she just 'my best option' in terms of looks/personality? Abundance mentality is core 99% of the time. One-itis is a bitch dude, and it's enraging when you conclude that that's what you're going through and not some romanticized 'love'. She's divorced once, you don't know what her relationship was back with boytoy #1 before they got married, could have been better than you and hers, and look where they are now.

Keep in mind: YOU WILL OWE HER
