Not a big deal if it was a one time thing that you felt comfortable doing, it’s nice to give the occasional gift. but if situations, no matter the size, occurred on a regular basis wherein you were being asked or expected to do more than you felt comfortable/wanted to do, but you did it anyways, then you were essentially feeding her that control every single time. And she was of course losing her attraction to you as a man, because a man can give and provide, but he’ll assert his dominance when his comfort/rights are being invaded.

Personally, even if I love someone deeply I’m not doing that drive when they have uber as an option. I got shit to do and sitting in unnecessary traffic for a needy girl is not one of them. I’d at least rather buy the uber than do the drive.

You can be redpilled and be kind/gentlemanly/chivalrous, too.

You can talk about to what degree you driving an hour and a half to save her $40 on an uber was beta. You can talk about whether the sexier thing to do was to reject the favor or to call her a ride yourself or whatever.

Or you can stop thinking so much and just hold frame. If you’re available and feel like it, offer the ride. If you’re unavailable or don’t feel like it, decline.

People gotta stop looking at red pill as some formula for WHAT to do and start looking at it as guidelines for HOW to do. Yeah there’s some pointers that are useful to autistic people to navigate social cues and escalation and stuff… but for the rest of us the long and short is just hold frame. And holding frame doesn’t mean don’t do nice things. It just means don’t do nice things from a weak/beta frame.

To answer your question.

If I was available and interested in the girl, I would’ve OFFERED the ride by saying “fine, you can have a ride to the airport since I know you’re dying to say bye to papa before your flight” or something light. Obviously, only if I thought we were at a stage where this is appropriate. Not going to offer a ride to further adhere myself to an orbiter role with a girl who has not reciprocated interest in me.

If I wasn’t available but I was interested in the girl, I would text “I’d offer you a ride but I’ll be unavailable, but let me call you an uber. What time will you be ready to leave? :)” I’m not a beta for calling her an uber, I lay out very clearly and very early to the girls in my life that I’ll take care of them and make them the happiest and they’ll behave and do as I say. I establish that early on so that I can do “ beta ” provider things for them while still maintaining my frame. The other side of that is that I enforce that, too. I call it out immediately when I don’t like their behavior or when they don’t do as they say. They either learn quick or get dumped because I am comfortable in my frame.

Yeah, being the thunderchad asshole towards girls will get you into bed with some sluts. But if you want to have any sort of meaningful relationship with a quality girl where you get to enjoy their femininity, then you have to be the competent and stable man that removes problems and stressors from their lives and makes them feel safe enough to be feminine.

And before any thunderchads go replying to this saying that it’s gay, go actually be that guy that both holds frame and makes a woman feel provided-for/happy/safe/feminine and I will venmo you my life savings the day that woman says no to disgusting nasty sex with you.

she's going on a trip without you? can't take her seriously at that point(plus its early 2 months in and this is showing too much commitment early on) , and yes also i wouldn't have gone out of my way to drive her to go on her trip as you figured out already as it shows her you don't have other options and are being too nice here aka neediness... but this is a good post and i appreciate the vulnerability and honesty here
