Was your behaviour Alpha or Beta? Are you an EC or u/meh613? I know I'm u/meh613, I'm not an EC, but I still have something to write.
As I pointed out in a comment the other day in asktrp, the point of the redpill is to replace the addiction of thinking of someone else's interests before your own with an addiction to self-improvement, most often lifting weights in a gymnasium. A few hours later, two others piped implying anything else is unacceptable as you need to build your testosterone and get big.
No, you do not.
You do not need to look as ripped as Hulk Hogan did in his prime. If you can do so, more power to you. But you can also look like Mark Zuckerberg and get a good wife, who seems unknowingly RPW. You don't have to be Milo Yiannopoulos to be an MRA. You can simultaneously believe that women are kept down in politics, while believing that family courts and the education system keep men down.
Recently, and what triggered this, was a post that had a line about autism. According to the DSM V, autism is a spectrum. What this means is that everyone, from a unicorn, goddess that occupy my dreams every night, to every reader, to myself, lie somewhere on this spectrum.
What dictates whether you're a success or not is how you choose to channel your genetics. I'm quite short (150cm, a hair above 5 feet tall). I can't even reach most pull up bars, so I don't even try as I know I'm not going to change this aspect of myself, no matter how much I lift nor how many pissing contests I get into on reddit.
Why do I get into pissing contests so often? Because, I don't give a damn about the opponent, nor their non-thinking followers who put title before content -- you know who you are. Everyone has some knowledge to offer everyone else. It's up to you, not me, to tell you to value this piece of advice and not that one.
Growing up, I wasn't the smartest, didn't speak up in class, never got the highest marks. Nevertheless, I was consistently among the top 5, on every exam, report, et al in every course. While Nelly may attest that "two nobody remembers", if you're consistently amongst the top performers, while the one ahead of you takes on many different names and forms, those who matter tend to see the pattern.
I was drafted serve in the Belgian Air Force, performing maintenance on NATO fighters for 2 summers -- pilots were always Walloons, I was Flemish, and rules being rules, I didn't argue. Just get my job done and go on my merry way.
In the last US election, I supported Bernie Sanders and then, tacitly, Hillary Clinton, whilst agreeing with Donald Trump on a few topics. As someone from the Middle East, I disagree with Trump's (proposed) travel ban, even though Pakistan, Belgium, or Denmark are not on his target list as I am well aware of how fluid borders are, being Belgian -- the place I was born has changed countries 5 times in the 20th century -- Belgium to Germany to France to Britain to Belgium again. Having to keep track of what language I speak to the police officer on a given day and having that dictate my immigration rights strikes me as a horrendously stupid idea.
That's all for now, as I've written over 3,000 characters. I look forward to any feedback any of you provide on any of this.
