Dear ambitious but clueless male, welcome.
Let us assume you have a rock solid career now and you clear $150k+ per annum.
But it is not enough. It is never enough and you can feel your dreams and time slipping through your hands.
You want to start a business, but you don't have an "idea."
This is actually the biggest cope that is keeping you poor.
You are hiding behind an excuse when you know exactly what to do.
You don't have to be the next Steve Jobs.
You don't have to create the next Microsoft.
You don't have to create the next billion-dollar ideation stage startup.
You don't have to reinvent the wheel.
To make money online, you just have to sell something. There’s no way to earn money without selling something. And no, "Trading" won't work no matter how hard you try.
It's not a business until you're actually selling something.
Build skills and start selling your skills/services
Offering personalized services can be a lucrative business, although scaling it can be more difficult. It requires having a skill set that others are willing to pay for.
A straightforward approach is to take your current expertise and offer freelance services online. For example, if you’re an accountant, you could provide remote accounting or financial consulting through video calls.
Freelancing is especially accessible for those skilled in digital services. If you are skilled, getting freelance clients is often just a matter of marketing your services and building visibility online.
In 2 years, you can easily make an extra $50k per annum for 4-5 hours a day and it is well worth it.
If you have $1,000 to spare, you can start an online business.
Affiliate marketing
Affiliate marketing is the easiest way to make money online. The best thing about affiliate marketing is that you don't have to create your own product or service.
Just help someone get customers and they will pay you all the way from 10% to 50% in some cases.
Easier said than done, I know.
However, if you have never made money online and if have no skills, you can start with being an affiliate marketer.
Tutoring/Training/Coaching
Yes. A time for money exchange, I know.
But when you are short of cash, you can absolutely trade your time for some cash (A lot of cash if you are talented)
There was a period in my life when I was unemployed and had nothing going for me. I turned to tutoring and coaching for my income.
It paid me decently well to stay afloat until I got myself a better job.
Your goal is to stack cash and there are a million different ways to get there. Pick one that is easy and has a low barrier to entry until you save up some money and then you can "think" all you want.
The point I'm trying to drive home here is that, you don't have to create the next billion dollar startup. An extra $3k a month in side income could create $350k+ worth of savings in 10 years.
That amount in S&P500 for 10 years straight, you might be looking at $500k - $600k.
Don't ever take this lightly.
