Maybe be ranting and or poor grammar, I apologize.
point of reference, all 20/21 year old college students.
My friend has an LTR. She was hamstering that she was fat. She is very attractive, in shape, confident, a solid 8. His reply was: a picture of an extremely fat chick; that she didn't equal said image; he loves her; and that he doesn't date fat chicks. She stopped texting him after she got it. I told him that she was just wanting attention and he did the right thing. I was encouraging him stating his honest opinion, just having a standard. The rest of the guys (5 of us total in two apartments) told him that he should apologize, and that he went too far. As of now he has sent an apology saying: he's sorry; he's a dumb ass; and that he loves her.
My group went to discuss why he was wrong, I voiced that he should stick to his word. I got called a dumbass (whoop dee fuckin' doo). They questioned my ability to hold a relationship and I know nothing about relationships. I know I could have made better points, but I realize now the guys I live with are Mangingas and plugged in still. I thought I could help by giving decent advice.
Any advice for anything in the future when it comes to helping guy friends deal with their women?
