Reporting in from the Red Cell in the Netherlands... I have a question for the community about the concept of 'knowing' someone. I don't know if this is really important in the U.S. or abroad, but in the Netherlands, chicks seem to be really concerned about 'Ik ken hem' (I know him) or 'Ik ken je niet' (I don't know you). One of the main things chicks seem to want in the Netherlands, is to 'know' you...

But what does that mean?

Semantically, I think in all countries we have these touchy-feely categories of relationships to someone. Roughly something like:

I don't know you: Strangers. I 'know' you: Acquaintances. I 'like' you: Friends. I 'love' you: Good friends, family. I 'care' about you: Lover.

But what is really meant by 'I don't know you'. What's the psychological drive behind it is what I'm wondering?

I've noticed in my flings and semi-relationships, that one of the main goals of the girl, besides enjoying my masculine polarity, wanting sex, wanting excitement, wanting the other Red Pill virtues we learn here... is she wants to 'know' you. Like really 'get to know' you on a deep level.

Anyone who's gotten close to a chick will probably have noticed this. If she's infatuated, she's going to ask you really deep questions that most people (guy friends/family) will never ask you. Like who are you as a person? What are your goals? Why do you want this? Why do you want that? These girls will probe deep... I always figured their reason for doing this was: Her feminine nature has kicked in, and as optimal expression she wants to fully know you, so she can fully support you and complement you/ while on the other hand, she wants to fully know you as a form of security, so she can know if you're an optimal match and how she can push your buttons.

In any case... this is one type of 'knowing'.

But on the other hand, there is the more light level 'knowing' of someone. More on the social circle/acquaintances level. I've noticed that one of the prime drivers for girls, when you cold approach them in a social circle setting, is that they want to 'know' who you are.

'Who is this guy?', 'What is his status?', 'Who are his allies?', 'What is his rank?'... Immediately, chicks want to put you into a box as fast as they possibly can. And this seems to me what they mean by 'knowing' someone.

When a chick says on tinder, 'I don't know you', or in a social setting she's thinking 'I want to know who he is', what she's actually saying is: I want to put this guy into a clear box as fast as possible so I don't have to experience the anxiety of not knowing his level.

Is this really what girls mean by 'I know him'? Or am I on the wrong tract...
