He did the whole womanly thing women do when they take action against the person who they felt wronged them by going over the top and making out to be no big deal.

Is it just me, or is doing all these bizarre things "for charity" kind of sick? If you're going to give money to charity, just give money to charity; don't do it as some sort of freakish hazing ritual where you make some random dude run 50 miles in a chicken suit, or wear a dress, or eat a handful of spiders.

Because that's just weird, and it makes you look like a bit of a sadist.

Giving large amounts to charity during your lifetime is generally stupid. It's more efficient and less self-glorifying to give anonymously after your death, while also providing for your descendants.

An endowment that produces continual income is a lot more valuable to a charity than a cash gift. This is how actual enduring foundations perpetuate themselves: not through continuous hustling for one-off gifts. Cash gifts with your name attached before you're even elderly are just status posturing.

nah its fine sadly its a very effective means to raise money. The cause itself isn't often good enough. People can make someone look stupid, get a chuckle and still get a warm fuzzy feeling cuz they are so generous.
