What I found most interesting is that the article seems to contradict hypergamy, i.e. that women always seek to choose the best male, in favor of the more traditionally male strategy of simply fucking everything that is willing.

In other words, female sexuality is not so much blindly promiscuous as it is pragmatic.

Since the 90s the climate has changed and therefore this "pragmatic" shift has given a rise to more hookups due to the hookup culture.

Interesting is an understatement. The conclusion of that article pretty much damns the entirety of western thinking when it comes to relationships and marriage.

And I completely agree with them.
