I guess. You can be a MGTOW who gets as much sex as he can with no commitment. I've met plenty. I even met one who went as far to admit that at this point in his life (he's in his 30s,) he just wants to use women for sex because of how they ignored him when he was in his 20s.

Spinning plates is still a form of MGTOW. MGTOW is the rejection of marriage and legal pitfalls associated with committing to women.

I don't think there is a dichotomy and that being Alpha and MGTOW. I think where your understanding of the two related but distinct concepts is flawed is that to be Alpha or a GYOWer happens for different reasons and espouses different traits depending on the individual.

Both concepts have independence and resoluteness in controlling one's own path and destination as their foundation but how the journey gets executed and why the new life path gets chosen in the first place depends on the individual.

Personally, I was happy in my career and had success with women and decided last May to actively work on bettering my interactions and relations with women since it is nothing that I had never consciously worked on in my life. I had relationships and flings with with several nice women while in DC just through hapless interactions and sheer ambition to pursue the women. But my actions weren't conscious. Accidental Alpha. Additionally, I had previously started and sold several web businesses and done various side business throughout my college and professional life which caused me to place little value on marriage, buying a house (i.e. being in debt), using mostly cash in my daily life or focusing on 20+ year career paths. A Man That Went His Own Way. But. So I believe you can be both. Have a sense of justice, honesty and reason and still be alpha and MGTOW. Even if a person has a harem they can still operate by a code based on honesty and reason. Not all women want relationships and some women consciously recognize the difference between an alpha male which gives them the tingles versus the guy who will make a great boyfriend/husband.

I'm going to say that while not all women act like manipulative little children they do have that potential and will act like children at time. Yes I contradicted myself but to say that like we all know that women conform to the container and men that surrounds them. And know that women act like children because they are biologically submissive/supplicative and conform to their environment for survival based on the strongest force in their lives whether that be daddy government, an alpha male, beta provider, etc.
