I have been lurking here for a bit and I am now wanting to get a question answered. I am a little unsure about the differences between an alpha and a beta. Are certain things that happen during sex classified as being alpha/beta or are they irrelevant when defining alpha and beta? Let me elaborate. Before being involved in the relationship I'm in now, I hadn't been in a relationship or had sex for over a year. My stamina during sex was rather weak and I would wrap things up too quickly by accident (I've gotten some of that stamina back and things are better now - doesn't matter but whatever). Does your sexual performance classify you as an alpha or beta? I read through the Acronym and Glossary thread but those definitions don't seem to be all encompassing, especially after lurking for a while and reading how others explain the differences.

TL;DR: Do certain things that happen during sex classify an individual as an alpha or beta?

EDIT: If I am understanding correctly, the way to define an alpha/beta is not necessarily by what they do but rather how they carry themselves. Interesting.
